We deployed B-ROV X in the Hooghly River under strong current conditions to conduct structured riverbed scanning. From the surface, everything looked normal — boats moving, skyline steady, water flowing. Below it was a different story. Using side scan sonar and echo sounder, we mapped the riverbed in real time. During the sweep, the sonar revealed a distinct F-shaped structure beneath the surface — clearly visible in acoustic imaging but invisible to the naked eye.
