[00:00:00]Let's talk about nephrology and I think the kidney the kidney's are an unsung hero of the of human biology and of all the organ systems, even amongst physicians, like the kidneys will be fine. We'll We'll We're willing to risk the kidney. And maybe it's just me, but I know that we're more often willing to risk a little kidney injury for the greater good.

[00:00:24]Tell me about how how much have you grown to appreciate that organ that those pair of organs now that you've been working in and around nephrology?

[00:00:36]>> where is it coming from let's risk the kidneys.

[00:00:39]Because if we have a heart attack and cardiologist is thinking about oh I don't want to risk the kidneys. My perspective to this is I can keep you alive without kidneys. I can put you on dialysis and you still will be alive.

[00:00:55]>> I don't care if you die from heart attack because we didn't do the cath because you were not willing to risk the kidneys. I don't care if you died with the healthy kidneys. And for everything it's risk versus benefits in medicine.
