[00:00:00]National Commission for Women has taken suo moto cognizance of the case seeking a detailed action taken uh report from the Delhi police within 7 days.

[00:00:10]NCW chairperson Vijay Rathore said crimes of such uh nature against women are unacceptable and must be dealt with swiftly and strictly under the law.

[00:00:20]The commission said that the National Commission for Women strongly condemns this incident. Crimes of uh such heinous nature against women are unacceptable and must be dealt with swiftly and sternly in accordance with the law.

[00:00:32]It has sought uh comprehensive details in the ATR including the FIR register in the case, specific provisions invoked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

[00:00:43]The current status of the investigation, arrests made, and the custodial status of the accused. It has also asked for updates on medical and forensic examinations conducted on the survivor along with the evidence collected so far.

[00:00:57]The commission has further asked Delhi police to clarify whether any action has been initiated against the bus operator or owner, whether the vehicle's credentials were verified, and whether it was operating lawfully.

And furthermore, the parents of the perpetrators so-called accused persons, they are also need to be very seriously about that what they are what what their children are doing. And that the one more thing that there's the weaving of this pornography full movie films and the it is available on everybody's hand.

And not only any any case has been decided within four five years. Even they more and more time to decide. And even then if during that period that the witnesses tend to forget the evidences and that that for that the benefit of doubt is given to the accused. And in some cases the accused are acquitted. And that is also adding to their moral up moral in that that they can get away with the people also what about the culprits who have been arrested earlier in these cases and they are getting acquittal. Then people think that they can also get away with it with the power of money.
