Genetic determinism is the philosophical concept that our DNA and life circumstances are predetermined, meaning we have no control over our outcomes; however, this view conflicts with our conscious experience of making choices, and the speaker personally rejects determinism in favor of believing in free will, though acknowledges the philosophical difficulty of understanding how free will can exist if everything is predetermined.

How true is genetic determinism?本站收录:
No description provided by the creator.
Of all the things that I've always thought about, generic determinism has been one of the things I've thought about that I've decided to reject. I've decided to reject it. And then whenever I'm going through something in life, I think, okay, cool is determined. And this is one of the biggest mistakes about determinism is that sometimes you can literally use it as a way to say that I am determined to live a certain lifestyle when sometimes it's just a life test. Sometimes it's just a life test. There are life test in life. A life test. Something doesn't go well, you don't get a job, that God rejects you. It's a life test. Sometimes there are life tests, okay? To get anywhere in the world, you need to go through a lot of tests. If you look at anyone who drives a Lamborghini, I'm did today.
Okay? They had tons of tests. A guy who is not that great great in terms of attractiveness and he's found a way to land many attractive girls. Test. Can you imagine me? Look at my videos where I go out, right? And I'm going to girls and I'm approaching them with my phone and I'm trying to get their numbers. I'm trying to get them on a date. And this is all difficult for a guy who looks like me, okay? But it's working, okay?
Do you know how many tests I've had to go through? Do you know how many times I've approached goals? you know, gone out on on a day when I was 18 and I was approaching goals and I wanted and I came back crying, tearing, thinking about ending my life just because some girl said that my teeth were ugly or something like that. Okay. So, today determinism is basically this thought that in your DNA, your life has been written. Your life has been written.
Everything that you're going to do has you it's it's already written. But the thing is it doesn't really control your your conscious mind of thinking that you have free will. So how honestly is it true? Because if it did control your conscious mind right on on your free will then we would say okay cool it is true. And the thing is the reason why people say it's true is because if you really think about yourself if you really think about the self the self the self okay not your conscious mind the self which is the subconscious mind the self. If you really think about this, the self, the self is something that is first when it's born, it doesn't have one. When you're born as a baby, you know, a three-year-old baby, 2-year-old, one-year-old, you don't have a self yet.
You don't know who you are. You don't know your name. You don't know you don't have any experiences. You don't even know your mother. Okay? So, what are you? Basically, you're just a human being that is made up of nothing. Okay?
Now this is a very very tricky thing to actually get over because it's like whoa that's weird. So because because before you become conscious of something you have to be there has to be things that you can become conscious of. Okay. So basically genetic determinism is saying that well every time you became conscious of something it was something that you were not in control of. So what does that mean? That means you weren't in control of the mother you were given.
You weren't in control of the city you were born in. You weren't in control of the father you were given. You weren't in control of the dynamics that you were born into. You weren't in control of the experiences that you've experienced. The car accident that happened, the this that happened, the this that happened, the breakup, the that, the this, the looks, your intelligence, you weren't in control of it. And based upon this uncontrollable factor, if we input you into this simulation we call life and it and its existence, it says that you are always going to go to a certain destination put in a certain destination. So what does that mean?
That means that if we input you with this with with this like with these type of experiences, if we just drop you on earth, you will always go back to what you were always meant to be. For instance, if we take someone who is determined to be poor, if we drop them into the world as a [ __ ] millionaire, the thing says that they will always find a way to go back into being poor.
There's a thing that says that if all the money in the world was taken from everyone, okay, and everyone had to fight for their money again, it would land back on the same people. The same people who are millionaires would be millionaires today. The same people who are billionaires will be billionaires today. The same people who flood money, flex, the people we don't like, the people who just flex their money, they would be doing it again today. It's just a matter of time. Maybe not in a time aspect. Maybe their kids would, okay?
Maybe they would start off, maybe they start off, you know, better than most people because of their genetics because so for some reason this simulation we live in, it controls beauty, intelligence, and experiences, right? So if you have vast experience, you're valuable. If you have vast uh intelligence, you're valuable. If you have vast uh beauty, you're valuable.
And you can use this value to gain money because money all it is is basically a product of value. Okay. So if if if if if you have money you are you have an ability to create value. Okay. So it's a product of value. So if you can create value you can create money because the product of value is money. Okay. So to today determinism is is kind of like this iffy thing that I've been trying to like just get it off my back. Just get it off my back. I don't want to be dealing with this thing. You know what I'm saying? Just get it off my back. You know what I'm saying? Because guys have been telling me about it and I've been rejecting it for a very long time.
Right? So if you believe in determinism, you also believe in fatism. So you believe that we are basically fated in our lives to experience everything we experience. The thing is there is no way of truly understanding whether you're right or wrong. The thing is free will or fate. I don't know how it works. I really don't because when I was young I really believed in fate. I believe in fate. Okay. I looked at I looked at life and I was like man this thing looks fated. If you really look at life if you can if you have the consciousness and you have the third eye that's open spirituality this [ __ ] Some people just don't understand these third eye things. Okay. But if your third eyes open and you have a great perspective on the world and you have a higher world view, you can take a look at the world and you can see there are patterns that exist. There are patterns. Us becoming humans at this stage, right? We are all humans. We have iPhone. I can somehow speak to you and you're on that another part of the country or another part of the world and I'm somehow able to communicate and talk to you somehow through this medium called YouTube and I'm not even speaking to you. I'm speaking to a couple of people. How is that even possible? Okay. Now, you take that and then you take a look and you look at the kind of like the amount of waste that's happening, the plastic, the this, the amount of crime that's happening, the wars, the nucleus that we've created. So it's it's it's balanced. Okay. So the more pleasure, the more ability we can, the more we become less human in terms of, you know, that base that we first started off as, the more, you know, we also become more monsters from the base that we first started off because we were always monsters. We just have now the tools to take out that monsterousness in us to to to to now exert force onto reality.
So what's my verdict? What do I believe?
Do I believe that we all fated? Is genetic determinism a real thing? I truly believe Okay. That you have free will. Okay. I I I what what am I saying? What are you saying? I I don't know. I don't know.
That's where my thing is. I just don't know. Okay. For a very long time, I believe that like reality was fated. For a very very long time, I really believed it. Okay. and and and now I'm you know like this free will thing for me. It just it's a hard thing for me to grasp because it's like everything that I am right now has created me. I haven't created it. I didn't come here and create a tree. I didn't come on earth and create grass. I didn't come on earth and create, you know, water. I came on here and experienced it. So for that thing and and how I experienced it wasn't even in my control. It was in the world's control. It was in God's control. Okay. So, it's it's it's a it's a real hard one to swallow. It's a real hard one to swallow. That's just my video for today, man. Peace out. It's black. I'm out.
