Any surviving organisms would need to follow the terminator line westward at roughly 1 and 1/2 km/h to stay within the narrow band of tolerable temperature. Walking forever around the planet, following the only habitable zone on Earth. This is not a metaphor. This is the only viable survival strategy on a non-rotating Earth.
