A procedural emergency is a mechanism that allows Congress to be shut down temporarily to prevent votes on certain legislation. The video explains that the only way to derail a war powers resolution is to 'literally shut down Congress and say that there's some procedural emergency.' Magamike 'unlawfully declared a procedural emergency' to prevent the vote on the Iran war powers resolution, which was scheduled to be voted on that evening.

Donald Trump has gone mute all last night as Republican leaders are in full revolt throwing Donald Trump under the bus in public. Republican leaders in the House and in the Senate, discharging war powers resolutions to block Donald Trump's unlawful and catastrophic war in Iran. Magamike had to rush to Donald Trump's defense yesterday, minutes before the House was about to vote on its war powers resolution after it was approved by the United States Senate where Donald Trump would have been blocked by both chambers from his unlawful and catastrophic war in Iran.
Also, Republicans are against Donald Trump's Golden Ballroom and his 1.8 billion dollar slush fund, and they're talking about it very, very publicly.
but also Donald Trump cabinet members like Marco Rubio throwing Donald Trump under the bus in public. Rubio is heading to a NATO meeting in Sweden today and Rubio talked about how of course we know that Russia and China is providing Cuba with weapons and intelligence. this as Donald Trump brags about his relationship with Xi Jinping and Putin and Rubio is making it clear that hey your friendship over there yeah they're actually helping Cuba right now as you want us to send an aircraft carrier to Cuba do you realize what's going on Donald Trump so Rubio is messaging that indirect kind of contradiction of what Donald Trump is saying then you have Donald Trump's former CDC director making his rounds in various media networks talking about how Donald Trump's mishandling of Ebola in Africa has led to a situation where there may be a massive Ebola pandemic.
Everywhere Donald Trump looks, he sees the GOP in revolt right now. And as I said, he's gone totally mute. I mean, he posted one thing last night, a New York Post regime media front page uh from the State of the Union many months ago that says Trump wins gold, his winning economic message in the State of the Union. You're talking about your State of the Union speech, by the way, which was an utter disaster. You want to ask the American people if they believe your winning message is winning in their lives right now? that people are absolutely suffering. Republican Senator Tillis had the following message about Donald Trump's slush fund. Play this clip. These people don't deserve restitution. They many of them deserve to be in prison. But this is uh I mean this is just stupid on stilts.
>> Do you think you have colleagues that feel share the same concerns that you're expressing?
>> Yeah, they do. And they need to speak up. I mean this is beyond the pale. This is not good for my colleagues. There's no one positive thing that could be spun out of this between now and November.
This is bad policy. It's bad timing and it's bad politics.
>> Former Congress member Mo Brooks, Republican, had this message about Donald Trump's lush fund. Let's play this clip right here.
>> Well, there are two aspects to it. One is public policy and the other is the impact on the fall elections. From a public policy standpoint, think about what's going on here. You've in effect got the president of the United States negotiating with the president of the United States to take $1.7 billion dollar from the taxpayers at a time that we have a $39 trillion debt and then creating a group of people that is going to decide which of the political supporters of the president is going to get that part of the 1.7 billion dollars that they claim. That's not the way we're supposed to operate with taxpayers funds. This breaches our fiduciary duties to taxpayers. The proper way to do it if you've got people who've been wronged by the federal government is to sue, go through the administrative system, go into federal court, whatever it takes, get an independent individual or group of individuals if it's a jury trial to determine how much you're owed, and then you get paid. So you've got an independent body that is evaluating whether someone has been injured by wrongful conduct of the federal government and is entitled to some kind of compensation and redress for that wrongful conduct. That's not what's happening here and that's what makes it so wrong where the Republicans in effect are deciding which Republicans are going to get large s from the taxpayers who are already under stress. Then on the political side of it, you've got to evaluate where the public is on this and the public understands a bad deal for them when they see it. And in this instance, this is a horrible deal for the taxpayers who are funneling the money to the federal government for this program. And that's what's going to come back to bite the Republicans in November, both in the House races and the Senate races and perhaps a lot of other races around the country. And that's probably why you're seeing so many Republican United States senators said, "Hold up here." You know, it's one thing for it to be good or bad public policy, but it's a horrible thing in their eyes since they're on the ballot for it to adversely affect their ability to win their elections and keep the United States Senate. Carry that over to keeping the House of Representatives.
So, it's bad all the way around and it ought to be killed.
>> Yeah. current Republican Congress member Fitzpatrick, who's in a very close race in Pennsylvania, and many people expect that he will lose his seat in this upcoming congressional race. He had this message for Donald Trump about the $1.8 8 billion slush fund for January 6th insurrectionists arising out of a lawsuit where Donald Trump sued the government for $10 billion saying that in 2019 when he was in office, his uh tax returns leaked along with $450,000 other people. So, he deserved billions of dollars and now he's settling the case and now you can't audit him anymore or his family members or his company and he has the slush fund. What? Here's what uh Congress member Fitzpatrick says. Play this clip.
>> Do you agree with the acting attorney general there that this is how Americans want their taxpayer dollars to be spent?
>> I do not, Caitlyn. Um you know, every dime that we spend ought to be going to uh and especially with people in mind, over half of Americans that are living paycheck to paycheck. That's got to be at the forefront of every single uh House and Senate member's mind with every dime that we appropriate. So, for that and many other reasons, uh, I am completely objecting to this and I'm going to do everything I can to fight it.
>> And not only that, Congress member Fitzpatrick working with Democratic Congress member Tom Suisi to introduce a bill to ban the anti-weaponization fund. And this is likely going to pass in the House of Representatives. A version of it will likely pass in the United States Senate. And I believe it will be veto proof as well. And as I noted minutes before, there was about to be a vote in the House where a war powers resolution would be discharged and passed blocking Donald Trump's ability uh to conduct this war. He never had the ability in the first place, but declaring it in the House the same way it's now been already passed in the Senate. Donald Trump begged Maggamike, "Hey, Maggamike, you got to jump in there and you got to block this. Just send Congress home for weeks and weeks and weeks cuz that's the only way." It's called a privilege resolution, a war powers resolution. So, it has to be voted on and the only way you can derail it is to literally shut down Congress and say that there's some procedural emergency. So, Maggamike unlawfully declared a procedural emergency right as Democrats were going to join with some Republicans to make this massive rebuke against Donald Trump. Magga Mike shuts it down. And then even like Democratic Congress member McGovern's like, "What just h what could we just ask? What the hell just happened? Play this clip.
>> For what purpose? Gentleman from Massachusetts seek recognition.
>> Mr. Speaker, can you explain to uh the members of the chamber what is happening with the Iran war powers uh resolution that uh was scheduled to be voted on this evening?
>> The gentleman have a parliamentary question.
>> That well that is my parliamentary inquiry. I just want to know what has happened to with the Iran war powers resolution.
The gentleman may consult with your leadership regarding scheduling.
>> Mr. Speaker, further parliamentary inquiry.
>> Are we not voting on it because the American people are sick and tired of this illegal war that is costing tens of billions of dollars. Gas prices are through the roof. People can't afford People can't afford their groceries. Is that why you're pulling it? You guys don't have the >> The House will be in order. The House This House will be in order. The chair is the chair is prepared to move on to the next question.
>> And then of course we heard from Democratic Congress member Pat Ryan who spoke to Eric Michael Garcia. Let's play this clip.
>> Dodge on the War Powers Act.
>> These war chicken hawk are going to send us home from Memorial Day weekend where I'm going to honor my fellow veterans that I served 27 months in combat with and they are going to not even give an up or down vote on continuing this war almost 3 months in.
while Americans are paying almost $5 a gallon at the pump. It is pathetic. They use this procedural argument and every American should just be absolutely outraged about this. It's a It's a disgrace. It is a disgrace.
>> As I noted at the outset as well, Marco Rubio kind of throwing Donald Trump under the bus also before he left to Sweden for this NATO summit taking place. he made clear in his view. He goes, "Cuba has these weapons and they're coming from Russia and they're coming from China." Donald Trump says he gets along very well with Putin. He gets very well with Xi Jinping. And so it's fascinating to see that as Donald Trump and the and uh Hexith and others are trying to create pretext for invading Cuba and saying, "Oh, they have all of these drones and da da da da da da." You then have Rubio saying, "Well, they're getting it from China and they're getting it from Russia and you're supportive of Russia and China, Donald."
And so you have this ultimate just kind of confused policy where Trump wants to try to get in this other unlawful war in Cuba. And there's all this fighting taking place. Watch what Rubio has to say here. Let's play this clip.
>> Here's what I can tell you. Cuba not only has weapons that they've acquired from Russia and China over the years u but they also uh host Russia and Chinese intelligence presence in their country not far from where we're standing right now. So Cuba has always posed a national security threat to the United States.
They by the way have been one of the leading sponsors of terrorism in the entire region. You look at the groups that work out of Colombia that have destabilized that country over the years with full support from this regime over there. So, uh, Cuba's consistently posed a threat to the national security of the United States. And the other thing that poses a threat to the national security of the United States is to have a failed state 90 miles from our shores run by friends of our adversaries.
>> And we heard from Trump's former CDC director. Uh, and Trump's former CDC director, uh, Robert Redfield had the following to say. Play this clip. So the the director of the World Health Organization says he's deeply concerned about the scale and the speed of this outbreak that the number the numbers of infected rises daily and he says the virus was spreading undetected for a long time.
>> Yeah, Elizabeth, that's all true. This is a an outbreak right now that is really a significant outbreak that's of significant uh public health international concern. Partially because what you said it wasn't recognized very quickly. I'm not sure why. Normally when we had these Ebola outbreaks and I had three of them when I was CDC director all of which were in the DRC. Uh normally we recognize them when we have five 10 cases you know. Well, this one really wasn't picked up till there was over a 100 cases. As you said, now there's over 500 cases. There's close to 150 deaths already, and it's moving very rapidly. Now, Donald Trump also sent out this guy yesterday, uh Colin McDonald, the assistant AG for National Fraud Enforcement, and he was standing by RFK.
And again, another example to me of throwing Donald Trump under the bus.
This guy couldn't answer a single question about Donald Trump's behavior.
So, a reporter said, "Hey, Donald Trump granted clemency to numerous individuals who stole millions of dollars in Medicaid funds." So, uh, what do you think about that? Oh, I'm not going to answer that question. You're literally there to answer questions on Medicare and Medicaid fraud, but go ahead here.
Play this clip.
>> It's attorney Rosen. We'll do one final question.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Max from Minnesota Reformer. Um, you know, President Trump has has granted plumby to numerous individuals who have stolen hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid funds. Can we expect Amy Bach or any of these folks to be shown the same uh mercy in the future?
>> I'll take a different question as the final question. Yes, sir.
>> More from this guy McDonald right here.
When a reporter says, "Can I ask you your assessment of the way immigration agents conducted themselves earlier this year?" He's like, "I'm not going to answer that question either." Here, let's play this clip right here.
We'll take a few questions. Yes, sir.
>> With the New York Times, I'd like to ask for your assessment of the way immigration agents conducted themselves here earlier this year.
>> I'm not going to talk about that. Any other questions?
>> Now, this also all comes at a time where we see US oil inventories are absolutely collapsing. In the Kobasi letter explains, the total US crude inventories, including the strategic petroleum reserve, fell by 17.8 million barrels last week, the largest weekly drawd down in history. Commercial crude inventories fell 7.9 million barrels, the biggest decline since midFebruary.
Furthermore, the SPR, that's the strategic petroleum reserve, shed 9.9 million barrels, the largest weekly drain on record. This marks the eighth consecutive weekly decline, the longest streak in three years since the Iran war began. 42 million barrels or 10% of the entire US SPR has been drained. I mean that's some serious that's some serious news right there. Also as we go through some of these other developments and I think this is not getting enough attention. Also some of these treasury drawdowns that are taking place I think deserves significant uh attention.
Foreign holdings of US treasuries fell $139 billion in March to $9.35 trillion.
That's the largest monthly decline since September 2022. Japan, the largest foreign holder, reduced its stockpile by 48 billion to 1.19 trillion to their lowest level since December 2025. The Bank of Japan sold US treasuries to fund yen intervention. In China, the third largest holder, trimmed its holdings by $41 billion to $652 billion, their lowest level since September 2008.
China's holdings have now declined $ 109 billion or 14% since the start of 2025.
For example, um, additional news I want to report as well, as I said, Donald Trump being thrown under the bus as well. Donald Trump seeing the GOP in full revolt. One of the things that we've seen also, I may mention this before, Donald Trump's approval trend among rural white voters, it was plus 27 in March 2025. Right now, it's net negative6.
Trump's base, white rural voters, plus 27 to -6 right now. And we're seeing, you know, whether it's the Quinnipiac poll, what was it? 34%. I saw another poll 31%. The Fox poll 39%.
37%. Trump's approval is going to dip down into the 20s, the lowest in history. And we're seeing these Republicans in revolt on war powers, and Maggamike had to intervene. We're seeing the revolt on the slush fund, 1.8 billion. We're seeing the revolt on the billion-dollar ballroom. That funding was pulled out of the reconciliation bill. The Senate was sent home. The House was sent home. Full revolts taking place right now. And I think we're seeing in action the bottom falling out.
I think this is what we've all been waiting for. Never have we seen Trump weaker. And with all of this, he's going mute just posting that weird New York Post article. Let me know what you think. Hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million. Thanks for watching everybody.
