[00:00:00]Okay, let's begin with our top focus here on Super 6. We've had a number of decisions taken by the TVK. We'll break that down issue by issue and we start with what I spoke of in the beginning of this broadcast about the NEP. Now, there's been a change of guard, change in government, but has there been a change in stance? Not really. The DVK has confirmed that much like the DMK government, they too are against a three- language policy, that they for a two language policy. What does that mean? that the stage is set for that showdown between the center and state to continue. There is in fact funds that have been paused by the center saying if you don't agree to the NAP we can't disperse those funds. So it looks like that stalemate is set to continue. Let's get you this detailed report first on the big showdown over the national education policy. It's a sensitive subject yes in Tamil Nadu but has also led to questions about whether the TVK is headed down the same path as the DMK when it comes to center versus state on education on language.

[00:01:04]The language debate is back in Tamil Nadu which TV appears to be taking a position similar to that of the DMK on the third language policy pushed by the Narendra Modi government. State school education minister Ajhan has made it clear that there will be no compromise on the policy of teaching only Tamil and English in schools.

[00:03:34]And then of course the fact that while Vijay and the TVK may not have Dravida written in the name of their party, they're still very much true to that ideology and true to those images and messages. Why they follow the same icons? Every time you see Vijay Garlanding statues, there's Perry there, there's Ana there. Much like the DMK, much like the AIA DMK2 on neat, similar stand again you had Vijay right after the paper league controversy issuing a statement again calling for the banning of neat. So that's another issue again where they kind of have the same view.

[00:04:09]They view BJP as their main ideological rival. The DMK constantly says it, has said it and the TVK too. If you hear Vijay in those rallies before the elections refer to BJP as ideological enemy interestingly to the DMK as political enemy because of this the fact that there are so many similarities in really their stand and of course when uh chief minister Vijay Toukot he said we stand for secular social justice uh governance that's exactly what the DMK also speaks of you see a lot of similarities therefore between the two parties and so now that we know exactly what the TV case stand is on issues like uh the NEP which is a big bone of contention has been for the last many years there will be questions also about whether on other issues we're going to see a similar stand of the TVK exactly what the DMK stand
