[00:00:06]Um so, a lot of things. So, I'm here for two reasons.

[00:00:09]Uh to to protest against the occupation of Palestine, and also as a counter protest to Tommy Robinson's United Kingdom march cuz both of those things disgust me. Uh the kind of rhetoric that I've seen um at previous um Tommy Robinson marches just makes me really uncomfortable. And it but it is an unfortunate reality about our country that we have quite a lot of racist people here. So, I want to be here as a show of solidarity to show that those 50,000 people who are at the Tommy Robinson march do not represent this country. There are there are so many people who do not agree with it, but unfortunately not all of them are as active and as loud as the loud minority of people who just hate and are defined by what they hate.

[00:00:49]What do you think of Keir Starmer?

[00:00:50]Um I think um I so I voted for Labour um because I wasn't as politically active and as so I didn't know so much what was going on and I didn't know his history. But since since seeing that nothing has changed in this country and things are changing for the worse in this country in some ways as well.

[00:01:07]And seeing the kind of rhetoric that he uses, for example, calling this march he called this march anti-Semitic. I have seen I have seen so many Jewish people here and there's nothing but love for them here. And I have Jewish ancestry as well. And this is not an anti-Semitic march.

[00:01:21]You you say that all races are represented here. I I've seen that as well.

[00:01:26]Although I'll say also that I've heard people saying globalize the intifada.

[00:01:30]Does that not sound anti-Semitic to you?

[00:01:32]Uh so, I will actually not deny that within this uh within the sort of the after effects of what Israel has done, people who are anti-Semitic um have felt more comfortable coming out.

[00:01:43]And I I combat that with with with with like my own circle of people that or just people that I have encountered and I speak about these issues with.

[00:01:49]Like, for example, like when I speak about what Israel have done, I've heard people being like, "Oh, the Jews control the world." And I I immediately correct that. Because not just because of my Jewish ancestry, but partly because of it, and just in general, I think it's very important to make a distinction between um Israel and the Jewish community. And I think that decision is quite clear here. But I won't deny it's an issue.

[00:02:09]It's just one that I ev- everyone here uh who doesn't support that kind of rhetoric would actively combat. But it's unfortunate there's always going to be a few bad apples.

[00:02:47]>> Well, what I'm wearing is obviously Epstein, yeah, and we're representing the Epstein class that should be locked up. Hence the handcuffs. Right. And unfortunately, the Epstein class which has been breaking international law, committing genocide via Satan Yahoo, yeah, and they're getting away scot-free, and it's unacceptable.

[00:03:10]So, what we want is accountability. What we want is accountability.

[00:03:15]Accountability. People like this need to be locked up. They can't be getting away with murder. They he bombed Iran on the first day, killed 200 around 200 school girls. Where is the accountability? Free Palestine. Free Winston Marshall.

[00:03:33]And big up That's about it. We should be locked up. We shouldn't be These people shouldn't be calling the shots around the world because what they're doing is illegal.

[00:03:44]Israel is illegal. They're occupying Palestine. And Palestine files are illegal. Hence Yeah.

[00:03:51]Mass rape. And you're blaming Muslims for who here. Look at this diversity of people. No such thing as hate marches.

[00:03:58]Yeah, the diversity of people. You got Jewish people here. Holocaust survivors, their parents are Holocaust survivors here. Yeah, you got Muslims, black, pink, green, yellow, blue, all type of people here. It's not a hate march. We just want accountability. That's it.

[00:04:14]>> Okay. Thank you. And part of the march, of course, as well, it's not just a Palestine march, it's an anti-Tommy Robinson march. Forget Tommy Robinson.

[00:04:22]He's irrelevant. Tommy Robinson is irrelevant. It's not about him. It's about the establishment who have put him in there to distract things. It's about getting the country back. We are here to stop a genocide. And that's why we're here. He's irrelevant. Of course, the organizers of of this march have called it's not just a Palestine march, it's an anti-Tommy Robinson march. Tommy Robinson, the United Kingdom march is happening across the way. How important is that issue to you? Incredibly important. Incredibly important.

[00:04:49]This This is not just peculiar to the UK. This is a global phenomenon where a justifiable sense of patriotism and and culture has been hijacked by cells of nationalism and passed off as patriotism. It's a perverse inversion of what it means to have identity and culture. It's another means of fragmentation and disunity. And this is the war of flags.

[00:05:16]This is the war of flags that displaces alternative ideologies. The flags are connected up. This is the problem. Would you like to see more Union flags and crosses of St. George at this march here?

[00:05:30]That's a very good question. A very good question.

[00:05:34]I think there might be something in that. One of the most powerful elements of the demonstration that I've seen today has been the Orthodox Jews, the Hassidic Jews, uh about 10 of them, a uh rabbis, fathers, sons, daughters. Actually, I think it was mainly the male side, but that's irrespective of that.

[00:05:57]Uh actually standing up for the Palestinian cause. And what was incredibly touching was the number of Palestinian people and people from all over the world coming up to shake their hands and to say thank you for the genuine love and genuine wishes for peace.

[00:06:15]And of course, this is something we forget that in Palestine, Jews and Palestinians invariably live together in peace and harmony.

[00:06:24]And it's been a calculated manipulation of that existing reality to create a decimated land for corporate identity and capitalist expansion. And uh it's just awful.

[00:06:39]Organizers, of course, not just named this a Palestine march, but it's also an anti-Tommy Robinson march. And they've got their march around the corner. How important is that to you?

[00:06:47]They don't exist as far as I'm concerned. I mean, being honest, when we got off the train at Euston, a lot of them were drunk. There was hordes of them. A lot of them were drunk, shouting, and I found them very intimidating. So much so, I walked around like [music] that. Really? Yeah, I just felt just hide your insignia.

[00:07:06]Right. Cuz you know, I don't trust them. They are violent. We were being called a hateful march. We're not. We don't need the police in Liverpool. We don't have a police escort.

[00:07:18]When the fascists march, they have to have a police escort. What does that tell you?

[00:07:22]What do you think motivates them?

[00:07:24]Racism. Really? Hate. Yeah, it's racism, isn't it? I mean, ask the Tommy Robinson. He's a charlatan.

[00:07:31]He's made his millions. He's getting paid by Palestine. He's getting paid by the USA. He lives in Spain. Why has he got an Irish passport?

[00:07:41]European Union.

[00:07:43]European Union. Cuz he doesn't want to live here. He wants to live in Spain. What does that tell you?

[00:07:50]Yeah.

[00:07:50]Now, you've talked about what's going on in Palestine. We've talked about Tommy Robinson. But for you, what's the single most important issue facing Britain today?

[00:07:58]Racism. Racism. Yeah.

[00:08:01]I mean, I'm terrified of Reform getting in. Are you? Really afraid of Reform getting in. What about them terrifies you?

[00:08:10]It's not the name. The name's nothing.

[00:08:13]It's just that the fascist Tell me what's compelled you to come down to this march today. So, I mean, there is obviously a genocide happening in Gaza. And I think that is really important that people get out and they spread the message. And um you know, like we come out here and say that it's not okay that our government is complicit in that. Right. Cuz I do I do believe our government is funding Israel and funding this genocide in Gaza.

[00:08:37]And the march is also entitled as an anti-Tommy Robinson march. Yes. How important is that to you? It's incredibly important. I mean, as a member of a minority group, I often feel quite fearful knowing that these guys are out on our streets. I went to work this morning before I came here, and I felt really really scared traveling on public transport knowing that people with ideologies like that are going to be out and about. I think it's really important that we stamp down on racism and the rise of it is really scary at the moment. Are you you're scared? That's a big concern for you. Yeah. It is a massive concern. I think it's really scary. And what's the biggest issue facing Britain today?

[00:09:14]The Brit- The biggest issue facing Britain today, I think, is the cost of living. The cost of living is affecting everyone. I think it is the root cause of a lot of the issues that we have of the rise of racism in this country because people are looking for a scapegoat. They're looking for an excuse as to why their life is poor. Uh and instead of looking at the real problem, they're turning to something that fits their ideology and fits what they their narrative, essentially. Right, okay.

[00:09:38]Another big thing that's been in common is both marches seem to be anti-Keir Starmer. Well, yes. I mean, it's a tricky one. I voted Labour.

[00:09:48]Um, so I suppose I was very for Keir Starmer. I don't agree with the things that Labour have done. I think there's quite a lot of things. You know, for example, uh, cutting pit. I mean, I didn't vote for that, and that is massively affecting me. Um, I think I'm not pleased with the way the government is going at the moment, but I must say, I don't think voting reform is the way to go.
