[00:00:10]But, this wasn't just a sightseeing trip. The spacecraft used Mars's gravity >> [music] >> like a giant cosmic slingshot, boosting itself deeper into space on a journey toward one of the most mysterious objects in our solar system.

[00:00:25]Its destination is 16 Psyche, [music] a massive metallic asteroid located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

[00:00:34]>> [music] >> And scientists believe this may not be an ordinary asteroid at all. [music] It could actually be the exposed core of an ancient destroyed planet.

[00:00:45]If everything goes according to plan, the spacecraft will finally arrive at asteroid Psyche in 2029.
