This highlights the brutal disconnect between creative contribution and legal ownership in the music industry. It serves as a sobering reminder that without secured equity, even the architects of culture can be left behind in high-stakes acquisitions.

Okay, Reggie. I wanted to to get your thoughts on this cuz some people have reached out and asked what um what I thought your opinion would be on Daz putting out his own version of Chronic City and Kurupt Streets Is a Mother City.
Um and I didn't really think much of it, but then I saw this video today and I wanted to play it and get your reaction.
What's up, y'all? This Daz Dillinger.
Appreciate everybody out there getting that new Chronic album, the DPG Smoke Out Edition. You know, [ __ ] is asking me, "How is you pressing up and selling the Chronic? Dr. Dre going to come after you?"
[ __ ] that. I want y'all [ __ ] to come after me cuz I've been on this album for 30 years and I ain't got one dime.
So, I bought me a pressing machine with through the jewel wrap and everything just like this. So, I pressed it up. I'm going to get my money out of the situation. And when they come up saying, "Why is you?" I'm going to serve they ass like I was serving everybody else.
Here's your lawsuit cuz you owe me for this album, 30 years worth of royalties.
So, bring your [ __ ] ass on over to the pound, Snoop and the Ram, and I'm going to lay you down.
Vice versa.
You know what I mean? Daz Dillinger.
Order now.
They going fast.
DPG Smoke Out Edition, the smoke around the cover.
>> [laughter] >> My boy Daz, my [ __ ] that that [ __ ] Daz. I guess that's what y'all call him.
But Daz, I keep telling y'all he's borderline [ __ ] He's borderline [ __ ] But um when you don't have much, you know, you don't mind getting sued.
The unfortunate thing is Daz is a is not realizing, okay, so he put an album out, The Chronic, and that's the Dr. Dre's album.
Yeah, he would say because Dr. Dre back in the day stole a lot of his uh his publishing or his credit, took a lot of credit on a lot of stuff that he did.
Suge always said Hutch did most of the work from The Chronic album and um Daz did some work. But I always tell y'all Dre was the finisher, right? The closer.
And I always give that credit to him as the producer.
But Daz said he never made a penny off of it.
So when he was getting all the advances before before '95 when the Dogg Pound album came out If you or your child spent years growing up on social media and experienced serious mental health struggles, you should hear this. Recently, a jury ordered Meta and YouTube to pay millions for their role in designing and promoting addictive platforms. They knew their apps could contribute to anxiety, depression, and body image issues, but did not share those risks while prioritizing profits. The recent historic verdict underscores the consequences of those decisions. Now, Morgan & Morgan is stepping up to hold these platforms accountable for the harm they've caused. Click the link in my bio to take a short quiz. You may be entitled to potential recovery of up to $1,000.
They ride around in a Lexus truck or what he had. He had a G He had a G4 Lexus the Lexus G4.

Well, he might have did that after he after the Dogg Pound album came out.
Cuz that's where he and I was living in Marina Del Rey.
96 97.
But he forget all of that money that was a advanced to him prior to uh you know, the Dogg Pound album coming out.
Uh Daz y'all heard stories with Kurupt, you understand?
Suge gave him a $50,000 advance order go put on down payment on the car and stuff.
So, I tell y'all Death Row didn't have a accounting department.

But why they're not paying you no more money from the Tupac estate or Universal.
But Death, I'm trying to give you heads-up so you won't lose your little house.
You won't have [ __ ] man.
That's not owned by Dre anymore.
That's owned by a private hedge fund that's buying up everybody music publishing.
And and their master recordings.
You don't think they're coming after your stupid ass, Death?
Okay.
I hope you got somebody teaching you about trust and protecting that house.
Cuz remember I know you're special, Death.
You walked around for a year with me thinking that you was going to get A McMahon going to show up to your house one day cuz your wife told you that y'all bought all the magazines and y'all won a a million dollars a year from the publishing clearance house.
You don't remember that dance?

All right.
Trying to give you some advice dance.
