[00:00:04]Hi everybody. Thank you so much for joining me here on Messy Girl Crafts. My name is Ashley. If you're new here, welcome in. If you're a returning subscriber, welcome home. Today I have a Diamond Art Club first look for you.

[00:00:14]This was a canvas that was originally released on May 9th of 2026, but I recently got it in the mail, so I wanted to unbox it for you. Um, and maybe this is something that you can add to your wish list. It did uh sell out very quickly on the day it released. So, I'm pretty sure it will restock hopefully.

[00:00:30]So, let me know if this one came home with you on May 9th or if it's something that you did add to your wish list. This is Autumn Walk by Usyk. This Oh my gosh.

[00:00:41]First of all, so cute. So, so so cute.

[00:00:45]Uh 22 in by 22 in. So, it's a perfect square painting, which I love. 55.8 cm x 55.8 cm square drills. And it has 43 colors including two ABS, one iridescent diamond, and two fairy dust diamonds with a total diamond count of 50,176 drills. Love, love, love this. I like the box. It's beautiful. I love the pumpkins. I love how simple this piece is. If you guys are not aware, this is like I was so happy to have received this. By the way, Diamond Art Club, thank you so much for sending me this canvas to unbox for the channel. Um, Usyk is a illustrator for coloring books. Usyku uh technically has four coloring books as of right now. I believe they are all in the theme of like witches doing stuff. So, uh I pulled up Amazon just so I could say the titles of the different um coloring books correctly. We have year of witches, we have witch witches, a coloring book, and then we have witches around an enchanting witch coloring book. So, like three different versions of a witchy coloring book with characters that look like this. Super super cute. But then the fourth one is called Life of Witches, which is a compilation of all three of those other coloring books into one. I stuck the compilation coloring book in the description box below in my Amazon storefront under adult coloring in case anybody was interested in having like an adult companion coloring piece in addition to this. I thought that would be kind of fun to do like a coloring uh piece from Usyk and then also her diamond painting. So, I might be placing an order myself. But yeah, this is Autumn Walk and it is just the most delightful little square diamond painting size and it's square drills.

[00:02:26]Not a whole lot of drills or colors, but I love that you're getting five special drills charted in here. I cannot wait to open up this box. I am so excited. Um this is just such a wonderful painting for the fall. I mean, you could do it whenever you want. I personally am not a seasonal diamond painter, so I'm someone who can diamond paint um seasonal paintings any time of the year. But if you're someone who does prefer a seasonal diamond painting, it's nice that this one isn't too big because you could probably work through it pretty quickly before we get into like the winter holidays, if you will. This is what the inside of your Diamond Art Club box looks like. You get this nice nifty little sleeve and uh this is your canvas and your drills inside this dust cover bag. We'll come back to this in just a moment. You also have a Diamond Art Club tool kit. [00:03:38]And mine does. It is a bronze card, which honestly for the fall season, it really just it looks so good with that bronze border. Um, and it does say bronze on the back. Again, if you're like, "What is a treasure quest card?

So, I'm going to put this to the side. Now, if we go back to our little pamphlet, we have our sticker sheet in here, which I will take out and we will look at in just a second. If you are not new to Diamond Art Club, you don't need to hold on to this, but if you're new, it's good for you to have.

[00:04:52]The sticker sheet is right here. The sticker sheet is kind of accordion style. So, it's got a front, a back, and then there's an inside with all your colors. So, on the first side, you have three individual stickers, a diamond sticker, diamond art club sticker, and then the title of the artwork and the artist. Then, if you flip it over, you have a start and end date sticker, a sticker of the original artwork, and then a sticker with kit information. So, um Oh, actually, let me see something.

[00:05:18]43. Okay, for some reason, I thought I said 50 colors, but I did say 43 and it says 43 there. I think I got mentally confused with 50,000 diamonds. I was like, "Wait a minute. Did I say the word 50 or did I say 43?" There are 43 colors in this canvas square drills. It also shows you the size of the canvas and the skew number. You can use all of the stickers on here for your log book if you like to keep a paper log book to track your finishes and diamond painting. Um, but if you don't do that, you can just stick the stickers wherever you want. And then on the inside you have the color palette. It is a very simple color palette, but to be honest, I just think it fits this artwork so well. And normally, I would not be drawn to a color palette like this, but for the fall and for this kit in particular and the size of the kit, I really think I'm going to enjoy it. Um, especially with like the features in the brick wall, the cute pumpkins, the black kitty. Like, there's just so many objects in this diamond painting that I like to diamond paint that I think the colors won't really matter to me as much. and especially because it is a smaller diamond painting for me personally. Some people might look at this and think it's really big, but others might think it's kind of medium-sized or small. Um, now we get to look at our canvas. So, again, this is the canvas and the drills. I'm going to put the box down on the floor so that way we have our table. Let me just put this down. So, this dust cover just helps make sure that your diamond painting gets to you safely in transit without dust or grime getting all over your canvas. You can hold on to your dust cover if you want to, or you can toss it, whatever makes more sense to you. Um, inside here, you see the drills. So, you just want to let those pop out the bottom. I'm going to unroll the canvas upside down. I'm not going to cheat and look at it first, but I'm going to roll it upside down on my table so that way it can start laying flat and getting flat before we take a look at it together. Um, so it is on the table now laying flat. Okay, so let's take a look at the drills. We have this nice pack of drills. Again, not the hugest drill pack I've ever seen by any sense of the word, but the colors are really, really nice.

[00:07:22]You've got resin square diamonds in there. Um, again, if you're someone who's new to diamond painting, square drill projects, this might be a nice one for you to start off with because it's not as big. Um, a lot of people, I feel like, are introduced to diamond painting with round drills. Me personally, I actually did um a square drill project as my first one. So, well, at least from Diamond Art Club, so it it kind of happened to me. I didn't really know what I was doing and then I just happened to buy a square project and I was like, "Oh, I guess I'm learning how to do squares." So, and it was not this small. I will say that. Uh but yeah, the color palette is really nice. And then you have a sticker here that says autumn walk on it with the serial number. You want to make sure when you get your pack of drills, you check that sticker and just make sure it matches the canvas that you purchased. So that way you know that you are getting the right pack of diamonds with the right canvas. But yeah, this is the drills. They look beautiful. We will be opening this up in a little bit to do a special drill hunt and to do a drill train. If you are interested in seeing every single color in this kit, stick around to the very very end of the video after I give my final thoughts and you will be able to see a drill train. And then um I'm going to show you the canvas now. We're going to look at it together and then I will go ahead and start doing a special drill hunt so we can see where all the special drills are placed on the canvas. [00:08:43]Oh my gosh, look how cute.

[00:08:48]Okay, can I just say I love everything about this canvas. Doing the brick wall is going to be so much fun because it's like every brick is like a little square and there's like color gradients in each square and then you have the white that's like the mortar in between. And then the girl looks so cute with her little boots and her outfit. And the outfit is not just one solid color. It has a lot of variance in it. So, it's going to be fun to diamond paint. And oh my gosh, the kitty. Let me get a closeup of this little baby kitty.

[00:09:22]Stop it. Stop it right now. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. And the pumpkins and the trees. She is so cute.

[00:09:34]Oh my gosh. I cannot wait to see where all the special drills are in this canvas because there's so many with such a small color count. I don't even know.

[00:09:44]I don't even know. We're going to go hunting though. Let's see. I said there were five, right? two abs, an iridescent, and two fairy dust. Yeah.

[00:09:51]So, we're going to find out where those go on the canvas. But like, look at the pumpkins. And they're all carved differently and special. And they're so cute. And I really do love the like trees in the back. Like they're like pretty much dead trees, but then you can even see there's some like trees that are in the background that are kind of shaded out just to give you that like depth perception. That is so awesome. I love it. And then let me get you a close-up of this brick work. I will do a panover of this canvas before we go into the drill train at the end of the video.

[00:10:20]Just FYI if you want to see a panover where I'm not like moving it all over the place. But look at the brick work.

[00:10:26]Look how pretty that is. I cannot wait to diamond paint this canvas. Oh my gosh, I'm itching. If I wouldn't have just kitted up like 30 projects, I would have kitted this up. Oh my gosh, she's so pretty. And her hair and her hat.

[00:10:41]There is a little bit of color blocking.

[00:10:43]It's not really a lot, but if you look in the background, you can see there is a lot of repetitive colors like that anchor symbol. Um, color blocking is when you have one color in your tray for a decent amount of time. So, it looks like that anchor symbol is the most color blocking. But then there's confetti. If you look at the girl's face, you see there's a lot of different symbols in her face. Confetti is when you are changing out the color in your tray more often in a small area. So, there is a mix of both in this canvas, but I would say it leans a little bit more confetti than color blocking, depending on, I guess, what part of the canvas you're on. But like, oh my gosh, I wish I wish I had like a cat that would just like walk alongside me outdoors. When I lived in an apartment before Eric and I bought our house, we had a cat leash for our cat, Kovu. And he we would try I would try to take him outside every once in a while just onto my patio onto like the little porch I had in the backyard and he was just he would love just looking around and sniffing everything but like anytime like a dog would walk by with his owner like he would freak out and want to go inside. So I've never had an outdoor cat. Although, I will say in high school, I had um a bathroom that had a back door that led to like our backyard where our pool was. And one time I was getting ready to take a shower and I heard me. So, I opened the back door that led to our back like our our backyard and there was a black cat there and I was like, "Oh my gosh, this is the cutest cat ever." And so, I started to like coax it into my bathroom. My parents no idea. So, I'm like coaxing this cat into the bathroom with like food and stuff and then I finally tell them that like I have this cat that visits me in the bathroom and I feed it and they were like, "What the heck?" So, eventually they finally fall in love with this cat and they let me keep it. We name him Frankie. Okay, so they let me name him Frankie. He's an all black cat. He doesn't look exactly like this cat cuz this cat has stripes kind of striped a little bit, but it was like an all black short-haired cat and he was a thick boy. Okay. He was I was like, "Are you sure you're an outdoor cat? Cuz you look a little thick." but he had no collar, no nothing, whatever.

[00:12:50]So, we keep this cat. Years later, like two years later, we have a Halloween party and um my ex-boyfriend was who was also a neighbor of mine in my neighborhood comes over to our house for Halloween cuz again, we're like friends at this point. And he's like, "That's Lucky." And I'm like, "Lucky? No, that's Frankie." We also had a black cat and Lucky because of course we did. And we were like he was like, "No, that's my my cat Lucky. We've been looking for him for years.

[00:13:17]I was like, I stole my ex-boyfriend's cat, outdoor cat. And like, it was so insane. And obviously, they let us keep him because he had been with us for 2 years. And we we made him a domesticated indoor cat. We didn't let him outside anymore. But literally, I stole my exboyfriend in high school's cat. I stole his cat from outside and made him an indoor cat and took him. And I had no idea. And I never saw him when I was dating him because he was an outdoor cat. So, I never saw the cat and I didn't know that he had a cat. So, that's my story. Not Not that you needed that for this unboxing, but there you go. So, yeah, this is Autumn Walk by Usyk. So, I am going to go special drill hunting with you. So, I'm going to put this on the table over there. We're going to look at where all the special drills are placed on this canvas and then I'll give my final thoughts and then I'll do a panover and then you'll get a drill train. So, I will see you in just a sec.

[00:14:11]All right, everybody. Let's go. special drill hunting. I have all my special drills laid out here, all five. We've got ABS, fairy dust, and the iridescent.

[00:14:20]AB drills are um drills that have this awesome foil coating on the top of them that really give them this iridescent sparkle and shine. AB stands for Aurora Borealis, so it is supposed to be mimicking the northern lights and they are just so so so pretty. Um then you have fairy dust. fairy dust has this light micica dust coating on top and it just really looks like a wet diamond.

[00:14:44]They're so pretty. Um it's kind of easier to see the special effect on darker drills here, but these look really nice next to abs or even just stand alone on the canvas and they just give extra depth and dimension to the painting. Then you have the iridescent uh and this is basically like a crystal uh drill. So, it's got like a mirrored backing, but then the top of the drill, this is a white crystal or like a clear crystal. So, you can just see it looks like little diamonds, like true diamonds. Um, and they look really nice.

[00:15:13]There's not a lot of these, so they're probably they're placed very specifically on the canvas for a special effect. So, I'm really excited to see where these go since there's just such a few of them in the bag. We have our sticker sheet here. And so, all of our special drills are going to be listed at the end of the numbers here. So, we have all five. We have two abs, one iridescent, and then two fairy dust. And so we are going to hunt on this canvas where those are located. But before I do that, I just wanted to talk about the canvas itself a little bit just to again in case there's anyone new here. So you have the um legend on the top left and the bottom right of the canvas. This just helps you in case for whatever reason you misplace your legend. Uh you can go ahead and see what all of the serial numbers and the symbols and the DMC color codes are. Uh then you have if you look here on the corner scalloped and poked edges to prevent fraying and then the back of the canvas is a nice short soft lintbacked canvas. There is a perforation on the cover sheet in big giant squares. So that way you can easily tear the cover sheet to diamond paint in sections. If you look there are gray dashed lines on this cover sheet.

[00:16:23]That just is there to show you where the perforation is. And when you uh kind of tear there, it'll it'll or if you rip it in that spot, it'll tear. It's hard to do with one hand, but this little spot here will tear if you pull it apart with two hands. Um the glue on the Diamond Art Club canvas, it is very sticky. Then if you look over here in the bottom left of the canvas, you have the serial number, the title of the artwork, the size of the canvas, a little thumbnail of the original, and then you have the Diamond Art Club branding next to Usyk, which is the artist. And this is copywritten. So, uh, USQ has given Diamond Art Club permission to use their artwork in diamond painting form, and they are being uh, financially compensated for that appropriately. So, you want to make sure that when you're picking out diamond paintings, wherever you like to shop, uh, those shops are legally licensing. their artwork with the artists because we want to make sure that artists are getting paid for the use of their artwork. Then if you scroll over here to the middle of the bottom canvas, you have um a take 10 code for 10% off your next order and you have the Diamond Art Club social media information. [00:17:59]Okie dokie. Let's hunt for special drills. The first one we're going to look for, and I have not looked for these in advance, so I'm sorry if I'm hunting everywhere, but this is AB 945, which is this color right here. It's like a nice light peach color with that AB coating on top. It's so pretty. Um, and that symbol is the heart symbol. So, there's not a whole lot of this AB in the bag. So, I'm imagining it's not going to be anywhere huge. H, where would we see an AB? Maybe in the pumpkins.

[00:18:38]Do we see any hearts? Oh, wow. Good guess, Ashley. There are hearts in the pumpkins. You see how it's kind of at the top of the pumpkin just highlighting? So, I'm assuming yes, the tops of all these pumpkins just have some hearts highlighting in there. Um, I think there's more pumpkin over here.

[00:18:53]Yes. So, you see that's where the the heart is going to be, right at the top of the pumpkins. Um, and that is where this AB will be placed. So, I'm just going to put that up there with the pumpkins. I'll put it right between those two. The next one that we are going to be hunting for is AB 3078, which is this gorgeous color right here.

[00:19:14]And that symbol is the downward arrow pointing to the bottom right hand corner. So I am actually seeing this color a lot in the flooring. So the sidewalk area you see. Sorry there's a little bit of a glare. There you go. So you can see that arrow is found here.

[00:19:32]It's just peppered in in all of these little spots on the ground. This must be like fallen leaves or just parts of the sidewalk. I think it's fallen leaves though. But you're seeing the little arrows all down here and even up here in the vines. So really mostly in the vines and the foliage. So leaves on the floor, leaves crawling up the brick wall. You can see more of those little arrows everywhere. And then are there any arrows in the pumpkins? Yes, you have a little bit in the center of the glowing eyes and mouth on these pumpkins. You're going to have again this AB in the pumpkins as well as in the leaves. going to have it here as well. And then I think let me see if it's in her hair at all. No, but we do see some more hearts.

[00:20:16]I didn't see that before, but we've got some of the some of this color highlighting the ends of her hair. And then nothing in her eyes. I'm not seeing the arrow in her hair at all. We've got it in the pumpkin. And then we do have it in the leaves up top as well. So you can see there are definitely more arrows in the uh some of some of the leaves.

[00:20:39]Not all of them, but they're there in some of them. So that is going to be this color right here. So I guess I don't even know where to put it cuz it's kind of everywhere. Um this is in the pumpkins, but so is this. So I'll just kind of put it here cuz it's like leaves and pumpkins. Then we are going to hunt for the iridescent, which I am so excited about. This is the star pattern and the iridescent is right here. So, this is what we're looking for is that little star. And I'm just looking around. Where do I see that?

[00:21:11]There's not a lot in here. Oh, that's cute. There's going to be some of those abs in the eyes of the kitty as well.

[00:21:18]Where do I see that star? Where would that even be?

[00:21:23]I don't even know.

[00:21:26]Where do we see the little white star cuz it's not it's not all of this in between. That's not it at all. Is it in the pumpkin as well?

[00:21:38]Let's look in the pumpkin.

[00:21:42]No, not seeing any stars in the pumpkin.

[00:21:46]How about her? Oh, it's her necklace.

[00:21:50]That's so cute. I was like, where the heck are these little iridescents going to go? So, this is a little moon necklace. So, these iridescents are going to go in her moon necklace right there. You see the star symbol? And I don't really see them anywhere else.

[00:22:03]That's probably why there's only like a handful is they're just going to go right there. That's literally eight drills that you get this bag for. So, you might get some extra iridescence in there. It could it could show up in other places, but I really think that's the only spot that you're going to see that is in her little moon necklace. So, I'm just going to leave that right there cuz yeah, she doesn't have any visible earrings or anything that we could see it in either. But uh yeah, so that's where that's going to go. Then we have our two fairy dust colors. So the first one is Z318 to the right here. And that is the pointing upper left arrow. And I am seeing that arrow in her boots.

[00:22:45]So you're going to see this color here in her boots kind of running up the back of her thigh. You've got a little bit down here in in the in the foot part.

[00:22:53]It's in this boot as well, I think. Yep, you have it right here. So, it's it's lining this little side of her boot here, but it's mostly in this boot because this is the back leg. So, I'm guessing like the light is like shining down this way. So, you have a lot of it here, a little bit of it over here. And then in her dress, you also see a lot of this fairy dust highlighting with those arrows pointing to the top left. all up her dress, up the arms of her dress, even in the bodice up here. You're seeing it all in her dress up there. And then is it in the hat, too?

[00:23:27]Yes. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's in the hat a lot. You can really see it kind of towards the brim of the hat. You see all of those arrows pointing to the upper left. So, that's that. And then there's like a little bit there in the tree. Is it in the other trees as well? Yes.

[00:23:43]There's like little highlight spots of fairy dust that are going to go in these dark trees in the background, but just like a tad. Mostly it's in her dress.

[00:23:52]So, we're just going to leave this right here because that is mostly her outfit, her boots and her in her dress. Then we have Z3827, which is this color right here, that peachy color that we were looking at before. And that symbol is a giant X.

[00:24:10]So, where do we see the big X? I'm seeing it right away way in the pumpkins and I'm pretty sure this is probably where it is majority because it's not that big of a bag. So, if we zoom in here, you can see there's X's all in the forehead of the pumpkin and the cheeks of the pumpkin and the corner. Same thing over here. You've got X's going all around the edges of the pumpkin in different highlight spots and then in that pumpkin as well. And then, is there any X's in her hair? Yes. So, similar to um this color. And I don't think this color. I think it was just the AB. You see some X's in her hair just like you see the hearts. Those are all special drills. So she is going to have fairy dust and abs in her hair which is going to look so so cute. And then do we see any X's in the leaves?

[00:24:58]No, I'm not seeing anything. So really that color is going to be in the pumpkins mostly. Um but you will also see that in the hair. So, these two colors here are going to be in the hair and the pumpkins. This is going to be in the pumpkins and in some of the leaves, I think. Um, and then or I might have gotten that flip-flopped cuz these colors are kind of similar. Just one's fairy dust and one's AB. And then you have the iridescent in the moon and the gray is the gray fairy dust is in her dress. So, that is our special drill hunt all wrapped up. I hope you guys enjoyed looking for all of that. Let me see what this kitty's got going on. The kitty definitely has abs in their eyes, but I don't think this kitty has any other special drills except Okay, there's a I lie. There's a little bit of fairy dust on these upper arrows along its back and a little bit in the tail as well. So, okay, there's a little bit of fairy dust in the kitty, but not a whole lot. Really just highlighting the backbone, the edge of the tail, the edge of the face up at the top, and a little bit in the front leg here. So, if you wanted to jazz up the baby kitty, feel free. Um, but they do have specials in it. You know, you might just want to add some more. But yeah, this painting is absolutely stunning. I'm in love with it. I love the special drills. You could choose to add more special drills on your own if you wanted to, or you could just leave it as charted and it would look amazing. But hey, maybe you want to put some glow-in-the-dark drills in the pumpkins or something. Do whatever makes you happy. This is um crafting. It's fun. There's no rules. Do what you want to do. Okay, I'm going to clean all of this up and then I'm going to give my final thoughts and then don't forget to stick around to the very very end of the video if you want to see a panover and a drill train.
