Creatine supplements bypass the body's natural metabolic process. The body naturally produces creatine from glycine and arginine through metabolism. When taking creatine supplements, this natural pathway is bypassed, meaning the body no longer creates creatine through its own metabolic processes.

[music] >> Welcome everyone to my very humble life.
Now, this house is getting done. And I'm going to show you guys, and soon I'll be out of this camper, and we will never do a video here again.
But with that said, I want to talk about creatine again.
Now, I've been watching Ren Well MD, and I've been watching her on Instagram, and she pushes against the norms of everything.
She's a medical doctor, >> [snorts] >> and she's criticizing creatine. And I remember in the '90s, people were taking creatine, late '90s, and people are getting women, [clears throat] especially, were becoming super All of these processed products are just people are taking them like they're Tic Tacs, and we're forgetting how to tap into the natural world, cuz that's what we are, is natural. And everybody's trying to find a solution for supplements. So, let me pull her up, because I would love for you to listen to her talk about creatine in her own words, and I'm going to stop and decipher what she's saying.
So, here we go.
I would like to talk about is creatine and how it's killing you. I know I've done this before. I know I've triggered a bunch of people before. But here's what I want to say, because I'm going to make it really simple for you. Anytime you bypass metabolism, so you have glycine and arginine, which go through metabolism, and come [clears throat] out creatine, and you don't Okay, so glycine and arginine are making creatine in your own body.
And so, when you're taking this supplement, then you're bypassing your own body creating creatine.
All right, let's continue.
You don't even know, right? What is the other one? You don't even know because Google didn't tell you, but I'll tell you. It's circatine. So, now you're flooding the product side with creatine, right? Creatine happens to be the only thing that down regulates the enzyme responsible for the metabolism of glycine and arginine. It's called AGAT, A So, AGAT is an enzyme that's going to down regulate these amino acids.
The reason why it's so important to think about what she's saying is if you're down regulating AGAT, which helps metabolize leucine and arginine, then you might be producing too much urea, and the urea is going to create a stress to your kidneys. But, let's continue. G A T. Creatine down regulates most probably in the kidneys. When you down regulate AGAT, you also get an increase in urea. Why is that? Cuz you're unable to process the ammonia that's essentially and ornithine are involved in when you get the metabolism of arginine and glycine that you're reducing because you're flooding YOUR BODY WITH THE BAD SIDE. I don't know how I mean, it's pretty simple. You're flooding your body with a synthetic creatine, which is going to down regulate AGAT. Now, the the the conundrum is how much?
Cuz if it's down regulating it a lot, I can see then people having issues with kidney problems due to too much urea in the in the system. But, let's let's listen to some more. How do you How I can't unsee and I did see a lot of kidney patients. I saw I put people on dialysis, big healthy gym people with their creatine. Now, their kidneys are When I did this the first time, everyone Googled it, right? Everyone Chat GPT, does she mean real? And Chat GPT says, "Well, yeah, but you just give it 6 to 8 weeks, and then the kidneys recover, and AGAT normals go to normal. But, you have to stop the creatine for 6 to 8 weeks in order to get normal AGAT levels. If you don't, and you keep taking the creatine, that is progressive. Progressive death. Progressive ammonia build-up.
Progressive urea cycle sabotage.
Progressive ornithine depletion.
Progressive reduced metabolism of glycine and arg- What I would like to talk about is creatine and how it's killing And this is the reason why even the potential, let me pull this up like this. Even the potential of kidney damage, cuz on a ketogenic diet or carnivore diet, and you're taking creatine, you are already at risk for damage to the kidneys, because when you drop out your carbs, you lose a lot of fluids via the kidneys, plus minerals. So, now you've got a strain on your kidneys just from doing a keto or carnivore diet, and then you're going to add creatine.
I'm going to do another video about chronic dehydration, cuz that definitely is my wheelhouse. I know a lot about it.
I've experienced it myself.
I know most people are walking around with either high blood sugar or high blood pressure, low blood pressure from doing a ketogenic or carnivore diet for too long without balancing your electrolytes, but I digress. This is about creatine. Comment below, do you think she's kooky kooky, or do you think she's brilliant? This is Ren Well MD. I follow her on Instagram, because she's a G. She's very, very smart. And what I love about her is her kookiness. I cannot stand these actors who are pushing products in their brand, and they're just a bunch of actors. She is who she is. So, I don't I'm not an MD working with people who've had kidney damage from too much urea in the bloodstream, but I find it very interesting. Comment below, share this content. Don't forget to hit the notification bell if you guys feel like you need a consultation, I am your girl. I've been doing this for a very, very long time. Although, there are a few people that are doing now creatine, especially women, which is why I wanted to do a video on this subject with the peptides and the creatine and all the stuff that people are taking, but my lane is just getting people to a healthy spot by managing their blood sugar, their autoimmune issues, their ketone production, their chronic fatigue, constipation, and a whole host of problems trying to do low-carb diet. I'm here to help navigate through that conundrum.
So, comment below, share this content.
Again, my Instagram is Stephanie ketogenic, Facebook fan page Stephanie the business person, website stephanieperson.com if you want to book a consultation or join my course where I cover all three diets. For this week, we're talking about chronic dehydration and all the weird symptoms you guys didn't think about like Raynaud's, high blood sugar.
Comment below and I'm out. Peace.
