The speaker advocates for maintaining the status quo in international relations, suggesting that doing nothing is preferable to taking action. This reflects a diplomatic approach where preserving existing conditions is valued over making changes that could potentially create new conflicts or uncertainties.

"No difference whatsoever," is the best outcome, according to Francis Lun, CEO of Venturesmart Asia. Lun expects that China will seek a statement from the U.S. about Taiwan, and that in return, China might agree to buying more U.S. products. Boeing airplanes will likely be a highlight of the talks, according to Lun. Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index wobbled only slightly Wednesday while Trump was in the air on his way to Beijing. The Hang Seng moved by fractions up and down in morning trade. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
