So, we tore it all apart yesterday, clearance that just because I'm have this idea before we take it apart, what why don't we walk over there and ask Doug for just so his opinion like they they know this thing, you know?

I mean, it was is what we were looking for is if something like something was hitting the rod or whatever and there's not one goddamn mark in it.

Won two championships with it and a bunch of other races. Well, then he wanted to go after the street driven record, so he turned it into a street promod. So, it's and it it had a big block Chevy in it, which we've dynoed here before, and we did very good with those, but they were just kind of outdated for as fast as everyone's going nowadays.

[00:32:06]So, I just >> My dad wants to make it My dad wants to set it as far as he can down. That way, whoever tries for it, they're gonna work for it just like we're doing. I mean, we put in the work for it.

[00:32:16]>> This is cool. You don't see this every day. So, this is a street prom mod with a billet Hemi water jacket. This is cool as it gets. So, Nunan built a water jacket hemi. It's a 4A bore space. Yep.

[00:32:36]>> So, it's tiny and light, but it has water jacket so you can drive on the street. This is unbelievable. And right there, we just have the proof that this is a 3,000 horsepower plus all billet Hemi that you can go from track to track on the search of breaking records.

[00:32:57]>> I I mean, I'm I'm excited cuz just the Hemi part of it compared to what we had, the serviceability is way better. I mean, the plugs are way easier to get to. You're not burning yourself in those days. Yeah.

[00:33:10]>> Yeah. The plugs out. But um and I mean it it actually made our transition from strip to street easier. Oh yeah.

[00:33:18]>> As well because I mean obviously you guys with the coil on plugs, we don't have to do anything. All we got to do is select a different tune.

[00:33:28]>> Man, it's really cool. So they have a 16 injector set up. So they have a high intensity small injector here and then a low impedance big injector running on alcohol right now as we're doing. We actually running all 16. But then when they going to drive from one side to another, you plan on doing E85 that you told me, but sometimes going to be pumped >> gas. Well, that's kind of the beautiful part about that is if if we're down in Florida, it's hard to find E85. So, you got to run a 93.

[00:33:54]>> If we're in back up in Pennsylvania, Ohio, E85's everywhere. So, we can run it on E85. And >> we got enough injector to do both.

[00:34:02]>> Yeah. Beautiful, man. And I I like how you guys set up this. Like you changed the tuneup, you just changed the fuel on the fuel cell.

[00:34:09]>> Yep. Just sand it just simple. Takes about 30 minutes. Man, that's Yeah, that's not complicated. Like it's a it's a beautiful setup, you know? Like for the guys that don't know, they they do the whole thing here, right? This is a vehicle car, but like you guys work a lot on this car.

[00:35:48]It was a two-speed but it still to do something right. were doing like four sevens in the eight but like it was my first experience dragon drive and two things that I learned >> it's in crazy fun so I want to do it again I will go back to doing that >> heck yeah >> highly respect those guys >> is way harder than it looks like >> you know to race back to back on your own >> right no trailer no crazy extra parts and stuff you >> and you only have one one other guy you don't have a whole fleet >> no crew right two guys, two guys doing this and sometimes like middle of the street. We were like on abandoned gas station taking the radar off to trying to fix it, you know, that kind of stuff.

[00:36:28]And this was easy for us cuz we were entry level. It's not like this, you know, like when you guys go on this hardcore level, man.

[00:36:39]>> It's really fun though. The dragon drive, like the community of the dragon drive, like everyone's awesome, you know? Like even once you leave the track, I mean you could pull up next to each other on the in the staging lanes and hate each other, but once you leave the racetrack, everyone's friends. If somebody's got a part, you help everyone out, you know? It's just it's a good time.

[00:36:58]>> Yeah. Whether you're cool in that kind of racing it is, >> but man. Okay, so this is in the end a street driven race car. So it is is a professional modified street car, right?

[00:37:11]So what you guys do a three-speed deal, right? Yep.

[00:37:14]>> And you also have a gear vendors behind it.

[00:37:17]>> Yes.

[00:37:18]>> So what does that do? So some people don't understand about that.

[00:37:21]>> So the three speeds for racing on the track. That way we can get our ratios to go fast. And then the gear vendor is purely just to knock RPM out of the motor on the street drive.

[00:37:29]>> So okay. So you're know the stress on the engine, low the fuel consumption, noise and all of that and just go from one place.

[00:37:38]>> I mean it it multiplies. is I don't know the exact number, but on average it drops us an additional 4 to 500 RPM down the road, which is a lot when you're driving something like this down the road cuz the higher you spin it, more valve train wear.

[00:37:51]>> Do you guys run a lock up on this thing?

[00:37:54]>> So, we we have tried the lockup and we didn't succeed with it with the big block. Okay, >> we're that's in the works.

[00:38:00]>> Okay, you works. Okay.

[00:38:01]>> So, I know a lot of guys that do the lock up on the street and they say it works amazing. We just haven't got it to go down the track right with our combo.

[00:38:09]>> Man, it's so cool. I'm looking to this thing. It's just like a regular promo.

[00:38:12]You're just missing the seat that actually fits.

[00:38:14]>> Right. So, it has a seat that you guys put in there for driving and take it off for racing.

[00:38:19]>> Oh, no. We leave it in all week.
