That's brilliant.
>> Yeah, they think I'm not taking the busiest.
>> I actually took them.
>> Come on then.
>> We were going to eat those. I was like, "Nope, there are."
>> Morning. How you doing? Oh, you well and you join us on Thursday on the 110. But first of all, I just finished shopping it and then we'll have a chat about what's going on. Well, that out of the way, let's have a little chat about why there was no vlog yesterday, Chris. So, yes, there was no vlog yesterday. And there was no vlog yesterday. It wasn't because I was doing nothing. and I just stayed in bed all day and did nothing.
Couldn't be further from that. No, we had an amazing day yesterday and I do mean amazing. We've signed off one of the We've signed the bands off. You know by now cuz you've seen it in Tom's Lock and it was truly brilliant. We've got that first building. It's took so much effort to speak to everybody. Fun effort, not struggling effort, fun effort to speak to all the people involved and I can't thank everybody that's been involved in this process.
They've all been brilliant. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you. But we can only go with one person at the end and I do feel that we have made the right decision. We have gone with Graeme Heath. Graeme Heath have been brilliant from start to finish. They've been so reactive to everything we've asked and they've been patient with us and they've worked through everything and now we've done it. We've signed. So Graeme Heath, welcome to the team. Cannot wait to see what happens. We getting them bars in.
And we're looking at mid August. Mid August. And we can have this beautiful, beautiful structure put up. So yes, that's what I was doing yesterday. And me and Tom had a little road trip out and did it. But when I came back and we'd had a brilliant day, there wasn't a huge amount of footage there really. So, I'm going to just what I thought is I could either do a short video yesterday or a long video drawn out and I didn't really want to draw it out and I didn't really want to do a short video. So, I thought the best thing to do is just save it up, put it with the footage from today and hopefully we'll have something decent that you can enjoy and watch.
Don't know whether it's the right or wrong decision whether people like to see shorter videos just more, you know, every day or they want to see the better content grip together. Let me know in the comments. As always, let me know in the comments and then I can have a look through and we can work out the best way to do it because obviously I'm very new to this YouTube stuff. But for now, I'm going to roll the footage for yesterday when we had this amazing day. And we signed for the BS. Go on. Have a watch of that and then uh and then yeah, we'll catch up and we'll talk about what's going to ACTUALLY HAPPEN TODAY. FIN. HOW WE DOING? Happy Wednesday. Come on. I tell you, yesterday was a great day getting that bed done for Alfie like that. So clean. Can't wait to get that into paint. Oh my days. But look at the day. Little bit overcast, but it's dry at the moment. WE LIKE THAT. COME ON.
OH, look at that.
Oh my days. And thank you all so much love for Alvie's bed project going through. I'm so happy for that. Oh, cannot wait to see that going into paint this weekend. It's going to be good.
Lindy's chosen some amazing colors for that. Oh goodness me.
Love it around here. Absolutely love it.
Oh, and look at that. There's Manchester over there in the distance. Woo! Nothing wakes you up quicker than running or a flow. Oh, and I've just got to give a massive shout out to everyone that subscribes to the channel cuz we're getting close to 64,000 now. It's steadily building and all them, they all do help with building the channel. The numbers help with keeping us get keeping us there, getting everything done. So, thank you to everybody that subscribes to the channel and watching, leaving likes and comments. You're all amazing.
But if you're not subscribed, why not give it a go? You might like it. It's free.
And yes, the T district is now full.
Go on. WE'RE FULL.
We kind of need to put an overflow in though.
Oh my days. Look at all that. No way.
Did I ever think this would fill up like that. Oh, it's even coming all the way to the back there now. Oh, look at it.
Looks like all the water's attracting some new residents. Maybe they've seen the offer on booking. We've got great offers on Lake Chomo for all wildlife.
Two for one stays and free use of the facilities. OH.
OH, WE'RE BACK in Butter Meadow. Look at that. M. So good.
And yes, we are on Wednesday. And Wednesday is going to be a winning Wednesday. I promise you it's going to be a good day today. But for now, I'm going to go get a clean, get a quick wash, get me cup of tea, get me cereal, and then >> uh Snoopy says, "Oh, easy guy. It's a 20 to 9."
So, it's 20 to 9 now. Got to pick Tom up at 10:00, and then we're going to uh we're going to go and do we're going to go and spend some of Tom's money. I tell you, we are today. Well, that was a very enjoyable run this morning. Got the got the running, got a bit of kettle action going in. Ready for the day. And of course, my cup of tea. The day cannot start without a cup of tea, of course.
But guess where we're going now? We are going. So, I'm going to go and pick Tom up now. And then we are going signing for the barns. Yes. Can you believe it?
After all this time, after all the planning, after everything, we're finally getting to the point where we're going to go, well, Tom is going to go inside and spend some money.
So good. So, so good. Right. So, we're going to take the golf today. Head up in the golf. We'll go and get Tom and then we'll have a little run up there and uh hopefully all goes well.
Oh, come on. You got to roll with it.
You got to take your time. You got to say what you say. Don't let anybody get in your way. That is all too much. Let me say you got to roll with it. You got to take your time. You got to say what you say. Don't let anybody get in your way. This is all too much.
Mr. >> Uber for Tom. Uber for Tom. We have gates opening. We have gates opening. Do we have a boy?
This could be This is going to be a good good day.
>> Let's go, bro. Let's go.
Just just sit there and enjoy your coffee. It'll be fine.
>> Alice's car was going to come around and take out the boiler from the house next door. And I was like, "Oh, I'm just going to do a sign for the barns." So, it might be about half an hour.
>> From when?
>> Now, please.
>> Was my timing off a little bit?
>> We'll just see how it all pans out. E.
Basically, you're not getting out of the car until we start anyway. So, >> yay.
Starbucks. Starbucks. Starbucks.
Starbucks.
I'll probably need a we'll probably have to stop the car at some point. I ain't getting that far without a we. So, >> where is it?
>> It's just on the other side of Stockport.
>> Yeah, but the the whole other side of the UK is on the other side of that port.
>> Yeah, it' be about an hour.
>> Yeah, maybe 10. Maybe an hour and 10 there.
>> That'd be fitting, wouldn't it?
>> 110 on the 110 on the map. Okay, let's go.
>> Hell yeah.
>> Big day sign in these bars. Honestly, I'm I'm kind of having like like the anxiousness of like, you know, before going buying a new car, you're thinking about like, have I thought about everything? Have I got the PPF protection? Have I got this? Have I got that?
>> That's the one that they want to put on your seats so you don't marks stuff like that. We having that on the >> Alloy insurance, that sort of stuff.
>> Gap protection. What happens if someone Oh my gosh, God. When I was buying my first car like that, was like, are you sure you don't want to buy finance and get gap protection and all this sort of stuff? I'm like, >> no.
>> Take my money and give me the car.
>> I have money. I want to buy car. Give me a car. Now you're doing it with a van.
>> Yeah. Is there is there anything we've not thought of?
>> We have given this an a lot of consideration. We've not rushed into this force. We've explored a lot of angles, haven't we? So, I think we're pretty good on this at the minute.
>> Cut to this clip later on.
>> Oh, yeah. Cut to this like down the line.
>> It's going to be like Oh, why did we put that on, >> bro? This thing shifts. Oh, it's good on the lanes.
>> What BHP, bro?
>> Uh, it's running about, do you reckon 340ish?
>> Yeah.
>> Nice.
>> It's only 2 liter Golf.
>> I love my TT. It was sick.
>> Oh, yay.
>> I went to Starbucks again for you.
>> Morning, mate. Um, vanilla.
>> Large vanilla.
>> Uh, large vanilla latte. Two large vanilla lattes, please.
>> Yeah, of course. Yeah.
>> Uh, fruit toast with strawberry jam, please.
>> Fruit toast with strawberry jam. fruit toast with strawberry jam >> and I will have a ham and cheese quasson, please.
>> Ham and cheese quasant of course.
>> You anything else?
>> I think that's it. Thanks. Yes.
>> No worries. Drive around.
>> You don't want the baked hair pop. You want a little chocolate thing? No. No.
You're cheers.
>> I was looking at all day breakfast wrapper.
>> Masle.
>> Well, sir, we made it. You ready?
>> I just seen some big steels. It's a very big st. >> Here we are. Aquarium with bits of steel in my pocket. So, can we have this included in the order as well?
>> One of them as well.
>> Look at that.
>> Joe would get so excited.
>> No idea how much >> Joe would get so excited with that.
>> Gosh, it's like a big robot.
>> Look at the plate that >> we actually um That's what So, we had to buy a plasma cut. We were making a bucket for doing the drainage for the thing. Yeah.
>> So that's what we were cutting to make >> hand that was like 22 million >> ro >> he would look how neat it's cut that out.
That's the thing like you you mess up one of these holes.
>> Look at all the holes.
>> The whole thing can be off, can't it?
>> It's all got to be measured exactly size.
>> I would not want the pressure on top, by the way.
>> He doesn't want that bit for 10 years.
So, >> I got used to it.
>> Oh, you Yeah. He doesn't even use a measure. He just guesses.
>> And it's perfect.
>> Wow.
>> What's your name?
>> Magic.
>> Magic.
>> Polish.
>> Magic. That's a sick name. It's magic and it's magic on the on the >> Yes. I love that.
>> He just presses them clean out. That's ace.
>> I thought these were all drilled.
>> Uh, well, I use the drill on leaf on the side.
>> Right. You got a big mag drill for that, is it?
>> Yeah. Look at that.
>> Nice.
>> Amazing.
>> That's prec.
They do, don't they? Look at that. Looks like it's been shot out.
>> I know.
>> I won't shoot one at you. Don't worry.
>> What the hell is that? How big a steel is that?
>> So what?
>> Neck of Godzilla. It's huge.
>> So what is that? It's 12 m wide.
>> 12 by 30.
>> Yeah.
>> So that's that's not quite six, is it?
>> So it all depends on the thickness of the steel. So that will >> Yeah.
>> So depends what thickness of steel we've got on yours. Slightly different.
>> There's some big steels in that, aren't there?
>> Got to try and lift it up. Joe could pick this near a fork with >> Look at all that. There's a lot of thing. There's so many things in there.
>> How big is this building right now?
>> Like >> it's huge.
>> This is all just for making panels.
>> Panels.
>> Like how many panels do you need to make?
>> Yeah.
>> Do you need any more panels?
>> Wow.
>> How many is in that? One, two, three, four, five. What is there like 10 per row or something?
>> There's more than 10.
like >> that's times by one two three four five six carries the next building. So we got >> So you do these in the next building as well.
>> Yeah. And we'll go in the next one and see if there's any concrete in there.
Set up.
>> So So out what happens here then?
>> So they come in with the concrete pour the concrete into the beds. They'll set the wires and everything with your panel.
>> So is it is this >> that's your rebar?
>> That's the rebar that stay in it.
>> Yeah. So stay in all your >> Yeah.
How do you how do you plug the >> I was just wondering how wide >> of your building >> just a bit.
>> Wow.
>> But how wide is it?
>> Yes. Guess what? It's bloody massive.
>> Widthwise, I'd say it's about 50 foot apex.
>> Yes.
>> And you said that's six.
>> No, it's probably eight to the apex.
>> That's eight to the apex.
>> Yeah, about that.
>> So that's the height of ours. We think so. Yeah.
>> In the in the >> in the middle, >> dude. Got a big building to kill.
>> Why is it so big? How big were the tractors you were looking at when we designed this?
>> I suppose you just said for future proofing it for the biggest size tractor you could need. I don't even own a tractor.
>> It doesn't even own a tractor.
>> I'd be scared up there like that height.
>> What?
>> I can fit my house in it.
>> Why have we only got a mezzanine in one little bay when we got all this space?
>> Can we do future extended like if we need the mess to go further over?
>> That's how we There we go. That is exactly how we did it.
>> That's a If that is 8 m to the ridge, that is wild.
>> So we kind of like >> Did you really not know what you were on?
>> Yeah. Wait. So you said from this post, right? Yeah. So >> do you say that's 30 m?
>> Wait, what's 12?
>> I did 12 m just past the eight. Yeah. 12 to here. Right. And then >> 30. Yeah.
So, I'm finding out what he's actually bought.
>> Thinking, "Oh, no. Is it too big?"
>> He's not measuring.
>> Oh, no. He definitely Yeah, he's on a little mission down there.
>> He's still going.
>> So, I'll just have to zoom in down there.
>> Yeah.
>> Are you sure?
>> You sure?
>> Yep.
>> I think we might need to revise the drawings.
>> We need it bigger.
>> [ __ ] huge.
>> It's going to be wild, isn't it?
>> Really? That like that? Yeah. Plus a little wider. You're probably on the other side of the table.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> From there.
>> Yeah.
>> And then that.
>> And that height.
>> This is bigger than >> we need it bigger.
>> No.
>> Not yet.
>> Not yet.
>> How much money would we have saved if we would have just done it lower?
>> A smaller one.
>> You could have just built it half the size.
>> But that wouldn't be the 110 way.
>> No, it would not be the 110. Okay. And we're proud to manufacture in Britain today.
>> Yes.
>> It's massive.
>> So what? These are sort of gray steels, aren't they?
>> Yeah.
>> You like >> Yeah.
>> Yeah. He says, >> "Yeah, >> the steel's all right. Is this the right color? Similar color steel as well.
>> Similar color. Bit >> green.
Oh, >> I think it is. Yeah, >> but it's just >> not very clean, but >> yeah.
Yeah, this is my quite right.
>> This feels nice.
>> Except they're the B. Two, >> three.
>> Yeah, five B. Three doors on two there.
They'll be amazing.
>> Wow. That's well measuring steps in again.
>> Steps.
>> How many steps does he do a day?
>> A lot. Especially when we're on the pub as well. Everywhere.
Yeah, this feels pretty, isn't it?
>> Yeah.
>> Very >> very vision now.
>> Yeah, very little bit wide.
>> Yeah. What is it? The third one.
>> Tom measuring terms. You still going?
>> Yeah. There.
>> Yeah. I think like two foot steps away from there. Just tucked in a bit.
>> Doesn't feel as long now, does it, as the one you're in?
>> No.
>> No. This is nice.
>> Yeah.
>> This is really We have something like this.
Really?
>> Look at it, man.
>> We know it's big cuz we put the 13 in the >> Yeah.
>> That feels >> Wow. Wild. Yeah.
>> And that's like the same your panels that you got the panels there, haven't you? And then >> obviously your panels inside.
>> Oh yeah. And rather than seeing the metal, we'll see the back of the wood.
>> We'll see. It'll be the brown wood on the inside.
>> We'll see the galvanized.
>> Oh, yeah. We'll have that and then the wood on the inside. Yeah.
>> And you mention about a flash.
>> Yes. So you can have flashing on the top if you want. So you know the gap.
>> That's a good idea.
>> Yeah. Sealed up.
>> Yeah, that' be nice.
>> I'm so excited.
>> So excited.
>> Oh, I'm so excited.
>> It's going to just be so nice to like have everything on site for like when we need to do things and not just like juggling it everywhere.
>> We got three doors in there as well. We roll personnel doors. I I think it's I think it's going to now like gauging this size in what we've got for storage for pumping stuff for equipment machinery those two bays I think then we'll be all right set of equipment if you have to go divide it in between that >> then we have got to divide in from your floor >> for the rest of the building so that'll be separate from all your material >> yeah two >> and underneath that entire mezzo section that's like They're all 110 benches.
>> And then we've got all of that space again upstairs. And then that upstairs.
And then you've got that literally all the way to the end.
Bloody hell. It's amazing. It's >> incredible. Like you think of the space on the me though. Like this is 2.6. This is 8.5 m to the bridge. This is for marching you around. Yeah.
>> Thank you very much.
>> Thank you.
I' I'd say done business, but I get in the car, I look at my email, it's like, send this much money to this account now.
>> But we got biscuits.
>> Yeah. Make some biscuits actually. And I guess we'll see you around.
>> Yeah.
>> So, you now own you now have a farm and you have new buildings coming.
>> And we've got chicken.
>> And we have Nando on the way as well.
>> Nando.
>> Great success. Great. Great success.
>> Got this. Could this day get any better?
We've got chicken for lunch now.
>> Well, mate, that was rather nice.
>> Well played. I got defeated. I got absolutely defeated.
>> Dead. I even finished my peach tea.
>> Fancy boy.
>> And I'll just grab my keys on my hand here.
>> The buildings, wasn't it?
>> We've come back. We had a nice little day out here to disconnect the gas and he's shouting at me already.
>> I won't go back.
>> Doesn't tell the full story though, does it?
>> Tell the full story.
>> Just cut it.
>> Right. Uh, what you do? Uh, can you take this asbestos out >> logo?
>> Yeah. Blur it. Anyone around?
>> But good work, sir. You've shifted a lot of stuff.
>> Yeah.
>> Looking better, isn't it? Yeah.
>> Bits.
>> Yeah.
>> Still a lot to do.
>> There is a fair bit, but it's getting there, man.
>> Yeah.
>> Fighting out. We do.
>> We do.
>> Big fire. Get rid of that lot.
>> Yes.
>> I need this guy to come and get rid of these.
>> Spizz. Yes.
>> Well, it looks like those busy are busy.
Those boys are busy with an ash delivery. But for now, I need to just get down to Illium to go and pick up the wall board. Uh we got like the nice readed board that's going to be going in Alfie's bedroom. Hoping we start fitting that tomorrow. So, I'm going to nip down in the van. We'll go and get it loaded up. I think it's in 2.4 4 m. So, it should go in rather nicely.
>> Oh, well, that is a good result. Got the board in now. So, that's in the back.
We've got it primed. It's moisture resistant, MDF, and it's got like the nice readed detail to it as well. So, looking pretty good. Just have to hope it sits okay on the top of the skirting, but I think we can make it work. So, got eight sheets of that. So, that's in the van now. We'll head back. I'll show you that. And then also got some new shiny Milwaukee bits that we can go and have a look at as well. Oh, good. Good God. We probably have a silver one. Oh, yeah. A black one.
>> Black.
>> Yeah. Go on then. Excuse me.
>> Do a burnout, bro.
>> Right next to the van.
>> Wow. This is sick. Such a burnout.
>> I'm not >> today. Anytime now.
>> Editing.
>> WHOA. RADICAL.
>> WHOA. EXTREME TOM.
Do you know what the reference is done on the Do you know what the reference is on the bands? Taty 05.
>> Taty. Really?
>> Yeah. It's your last name on the order.
>> Thanks for buying the 110 bars for us.
This is You're watching my face now.
Just double checking the number.
Review payment.
This could be a scam. It says, >> but my phone pings and the money just comes through now.
>> Just going to the toilet. Where you going, Chris?
>> Right. Are you sure this is a thing?
Yes. Continue. Anyway, you ready?
Confirm.
>> Yeah, I know, right? This is how it needs to be done >> with the boys.
>> Yeah, >> you done it.
>> Done.
>> Yay.
We officially >> just like that >> bands >> not bands >> in production. Yeah, I said get to the pub now. We're celebrating the bands like where's the march?
>> We should have had one though. We missed a trick.
>> Well played. There we go.
>> What a guy, isn't it?
>> Can you imagine? Just like the newness.
>> Well, how long before you're doing a burnout on it?
The day it's done, probably it's going to look dead slick. Everything's going to look dead nice and burn out in it.
Reckon we could actually first thing that's happening once that's done is we get to crazy just so we can say we've done it before it gets taken over for the >> Yeah, it's going to be need a whole like 24-hour crazy cars.
>> 24 That's a great lemon.
>> Yeah, crazy car moms.
>> Lawn moms. Yeah.
>> So, what do you think about yesterday then? THE BARNS ARE SIGHT FOR A LAST.
COME ON. THAT'S SUCH A GOOD DAY, ISN'T IT? Mid August, we're going to have the new shed, the new barns up. Oh, can't wait. And then we can start fitting them out inside and they're going to be plush. It's going to be the best best barns ever. But for today, what are we doing today? Like, as you saw at the end of the video there, we picked we picked up the paneling for a little Alfie's room. So, I'm going to go and start getting some of that on the wall today.
But first, we need to screw fix, go and get some floor protection cuz the carpet's not coming up there. So, I'll protect all the carpet. Going to get some pins, some glue, some other blades and bits and bobs like that. Grab that from Screw Fix. Then go over, shadow Tom, and we'll start getting that room in. We also do need to drop Carl's bike off at Ash's shop cuz Carl would like his bike servicing so we can ride it, please. That's what he said. So, that is going to happen today as well. And it's the 110. So, other things will happen, I'm sure. But for now, let's go and sort the van out and let's get ready to go.
So, this is the readed wall board that we've got for on the walls. We've got this nice little detail going on the panels there. So, this is what's going to go on the walls in Alfie's bedroom. 9 mil thick. So, I think it should work quite well on the skirting detail cuz we're going to leave the skirting on there at the minute is the plan. A lot of these packs, they come in like 600 wide. Then, I didn't want all the joints on there. So, I managed to track these down through Willingworth. And these are 1200 by 2.4. So, 1.2 by 1 2.4, which is decent run. So, there's not going to be too many joints in it. Where we do have joints, we're going to glue them. And we're going to glue and pin these boards to the wall anyway. So, they're going to go on there.
Oh, we got some shiny bits as well. So, I was going to open this up in a bit, but I think we'll get it opened up now and uh just make sure I'm getting the right brads, nails, whatever you want to call them from Screw Fix. So, these are some shiny bits. We like shiny bits.
Oh yeah.
Oh.
Oh my days. Look at this. It's a big shiny box.
Wow. Where did my put my knife? Does it look like Let's get this opened up and see. I think what we've got to begin with, uh, I ordered the 16 gauge Bradder and then the first fix nail gun as well.
So, they were doing them in a kit. So, I thought, you know, we're gonna need them.
Okay, we have charger, 2 A battery, 5 A battery.
Looks like the little rubber tip from the uh nose there. Don't we need that?
Oh. Oh.
Oh, a very nice little bag as well to put all the bits in.
Another bit of cardboard paper.
You ready?
Look at these. Like I have used the plazies before. Well, had the plazies before, but these apparently there's no gas needed in these. These are just electronic. Oh, look at that. Got the fuel ones as well.
So, hopefully they're the better ones.
But nice. So, this is the brain one. So, I'm thinking we can use this for on Alfie's room today. So, what we're going to do is put adhesive behind the panels and then we just pin them on. So, it's Look at that. Feels decent.
Got the different modes down there.
So, finishing one.
Then we have our big first fixio. Look at that. So, we can run.
Oh, yeah. They're decent. Then got the bell hooks on.
Battery powered. No gas like I say. So, that could be kind of interesting. Got the 5 amp power.
Blah blah blah blah blah. There we go.
It'd be interesting to see how these compare to the gas ones or the plazies.
I have heard some people say that they're not quite as powerful, but they do the job. But I think for me, this is plastic on there. Yeah, frame. Is this framing one? What's the frame? Yeah, the frame one that feels metal.
It's metal. It's actually feels like plastic on this on the finishing bomb.
The nose is metal body brushless.
Well, they do look kind of cool.
So, we'll just have to see how we get on with them. So, yeah, I'm going to get some 16 gauge brads cuz we're going to be using this one on the uh getting the wallboard.
Get them on there and that. So, happy days. Well, right, I think we better go and get some nails and have a play with these. I'll get some for this as well today. Say we've got loads of batteries on charge. Got now another Milwaukee charger to go with the five or six seven ones. We've got bad res 5 amp. So yeah, my last plaso one, it wasn't the angled one, which I did find a bit inconvenient when we using it. It just meant like the where the nails go there, it came off at 90 and it was a little bit limiting on the plazy one, but I do prefer the angle ones.
So you got a couple of spare tips there, couple of spare noses just mounted on the side.
M. Well, there we go. We'll get this thrown in the bag and then we'll get it in the van and we'll go and have a bit of a play with him in a bit.
Yeah. Got a decent enough bag, isn't it?
We'll put them bits of paper in there.
But preer the hard shell cases in a way. I think it's a bit cheaper when you get a bag, but most of this will just end up in the van anyway, won't it? But they might even have. But yeah, decent, isn't it? Let's see how they work. Hey, that's going to be the main thing.
Right, we're going to head down to Screw Fix now. Get some supplies for the rest of the bits and bobs that we need. We need some adhesive, some pins, some blades, few other bits and bobs like that. Get all that connected collected up. Then I'm thinking we'll nip up to Shadow and Tom, work out what height we're going to put the panel in on the walls.
Aha. Right. So, we've got the gear that we need from screw fix now. Got some some nails. It's got some 16 gauge angled nails for in the finishing nailer. We've got some sandpaper. We've got some screws, uh, pencils, some no nails, load of gear like that.
So, we're going to head back to Tom's now. Oh, shallow Tom and we're just going to little I know they're going out this afternoon. So, we're just going to quickly go through what height roughly we're going to set the paneling at. And then once I got that on there, I'll just have to make a decision whether I'm going to cut them down to height toms or we're just going to set it down at the 110.
Cut all the heights of the boards the same height as I go around.
I don't have to carry them in and out stairs. We just carry the smaller boards. I think it makes sense to cut them all down to size at the HQ. But we'll see. We'll see what the We'll see how it develops on that side of things.
I'm not overly pushed either way. We just got to get the panels scoring on the wall and then once we got the heights down, we got the panels and I can start getting the panels cut to length. Okay, just realized should have made a list before screw fix. Forgot to order a floor protection film.
Right, so let's get this setting out bit done quickly at Tom's and then I've got a little bit running about to anyway. So yeah, going to have to grab some floor protection film.
And here we are at Shadow of Tom.
>> Amazing. Thank you so much.
>> They teased him.
>> Appreciate that. Speak to you soon.
>> Byebye.
>> Oh, they definitely teased him then. He might be in.
>> I know. Did you hear that? Furious.
>> Furious.
>> Cuz I might need a laborer.
>> I will be your labor, baby.
>> Yes. We might have some panels for Clary upstairs.
>> I can do that.
>> I can do that steps.
>> I can do that. I might just leave the panels in the nail gun on the step and then I'm going to do that as well. I can't do that.
>> Neither can I. I don't know yet.
>> I definitely can't do that. But I can be your assistant for whatever you need.
>> Yes.
You make very good tea.
>> I have no water in my house. It's been cut off.
>> Will you pay bill?
>> No.
And just a little bit to throw into the date. We're just going to go and drop Carl's bike off at Ash's shop. So hopefully Ash can get that sorted out for him and he can get pedaling again.
So drop that in there and then need to pick up that floor protection. Then we've got some boards. Then we could actually do some stuff that we may be doing. I bring you finest bike to work on.
>> Definitely not. Never cleaned.
>> Never cleaned.
>> No. That's pretty pretty clean. if it's been m cars and it's uh obviously can't do anything the fact that it's in a beta but yeah that's >> that's a little bit >> but yeah so apparently brakes no good god >> brakes >> brakes no problem and I don't know what else is wrong with it >> engrave service last time But yeah, you just have a look over it for him and see what he's doing.
>> Well, that is K's bike dropped off at the bike kitchen. Ash is going to have a look over that for Carl. Then hopefully I can go back to car and then K got pedaling and stuff like that again. But um yeah, so if you need any bike repairs or stuff like that, just check out the bike kitchen in Hide. Ash will look after you there. You got a bunch of good lads doing lots of good stuff. Well, on the way to Screw Fix, realized I was passing Martins in Woodley and I had the hankering for a Cajun chicken sandwich.
So, oh, you can't beat that. Look at that. So, we got Cajun chicken sandwich for lunch and a cheese and spinach sauce like roll type thing. So, keep us going for a bit. Wait. So, I'm going to have my sandwich now and then I'm going to screw fix and we're going to get that film section that film section for the four that I meant to get earlier on. I know. Come on. Let's have me dins and then we can go and get that. What's this? You can't see.
>> So, have a look. Honest opinion on the other side.
>> Oh, yeah. They're lovely.
>> Yeah.
>> Perfect.
>> We can live with that, can we? From the walls.
>> Absolutely.
>> What's that?
>> What is this about?
>> What is that?
>> Cuz obviously we're going to the 1200 eye. We're going to come down to a meter, aren't we? Yeah.
>> Yeah. And you got this nice It's called a readed detail.
>> Taking these things.
>> Yeah.
>> Yes.
>> I know all these things. Yeah, we got So, this has got a little bit more detail in than the other ones that we like, hasn't it? So, it's got it's called a readed detail. Lovely.
>> I think that will look like this is one of the options for the trims.
Try not to hit you in the head.
>> Yeah.
>> Gosh, it's so clever, isn't it?
>> So, we'll end up with sort of that detail across the top.
>> Oh my god.
>> Do you want to go too big on that? No.
>> I think that'll look kind of nice.
>> Yeah, I think that'll look nice. Yeah. I don't think it needs much more, does it?
>> No.
>> Are you thinking Are we still thinking of putting some on the roof?
>> Well, I think we get this on first. Get this on and we'll have a little look at the co.
>> The coing is like a bit of a question mark cuz our ceilings are >> That's it.
>> Quite short.
>> Yeah. Grow and he might hit his head if it's on your >> wa. This is the molding that's going to go on your wall, Alfie. Yeah. Do you like that?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. He is.
>> What color should we do? Should we do it? Should we do a defender?
>> Defender.
>> Defender.
>> Defender.
>> Defender. Green. Look >> at that.
>> You like that? You think we can balance a car on that? I can get the little cars on that.
>> Moment of truth.
>> Will it fit the little one?
>> Your little ones work.
>> Yay.
>> Yay.
>> Oh. Oh. Oh, look at that.
>> Are we going to get some tools out, Alfie? Trestles, saws, stuff like that.
This has got to be our workbench.
So, we got the trestles out there. Got an old piece of 25 mil MDF that they gave us at Illingworth. So, we're going to use that to put these sheets on while we trim them down to the height now, aren't we, Alfie?
>> Yeah. Down to a meter.
>> Yes. You happy with that? Right. Come on then. Right. We should go inside and we're going to measure the height of the first board now.
Oh.
Oh my days, it's looking very empty.
Look at this. We have an empty room and we have a light pendant. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Look at this.
This is ace, right? So, this was this was the mark we said we were going to start with the first one on and just see. Yeah, we're going to go with a meter on the board there. So, this was a height where we just I think aesthetically that looks quite good. So, I'm going to cut one more in a meter, then we'll fetch it up, offer it up, and see what it looks like.
He's like, "There's a defender. I don't need that." But yes, I'll have an ice cream. Thank you.
>> There are different options, but >> look at this. So, I think it's time, sir, that I uh you can have your own joiner's pencil now.
>> Now, I know what it does.
>> Yeah. And also, >> should you feel the need, >> who >> you can upgrade?
>> What the hell?
>> How large you join his pencil?
>> Normal Joe pencil. Normal human pencil.
Why is it so big?
>> We've never heard that statement before.
>> No, that's never been said in that house ever. Wow. Why is that so big?
>> I'm not quite sure, but I thought you might like one of each.
>> Where have you been hiding this all this time?
>> You wouldn't want to sniff it.
>> Why is it Why is it warm? He says, "Hey."
>> Oh, it's too hot.
>> So big.
>> I'm not quite sure why they made those ones that big. But yeah, there you go.
You've now got a giant pencil for the day.
>> Someone set the settings wrong on this.
It's like they probably make it in like a mile long run. They go, >> "That looks normal, doesn't it? That looks like about the right size for a pencil."
>> It's like a [ __ ] wand.
>> Swish and flick.
>> Yeah. It's a Harry Potter version of like pencil, isn't it?
>> I'll stick with this one. Thanks.
>> No, it shows that.
>> All right.
>> You can't give it away. It's a gift.
>> Well, well, well. Convenient.
>> Boy in the pocket. Yeah.
>> So, how did you end up in A&8?
>> Well, I have a giant pencil in my groin.
>> And it's not for the reasons you'd think.
>> Well, just snap it now. It'll fit in your pocket.
>> Yeah. No, I've got two. Well, thanks, Chris.
>> Anytime, mate.
We're a bit late to the bloody party.
Is that what it's actually for? And don't say you I'm falling apart.
And don't say yes, Tom. It's a sharpener. Oh, wait. Is it actually for these kind of size ones? Oh, it's designed for it.
Just so it's nice and sharp so it does actually impale you in your pocket.
>> Yeah, that will actually I can kill them with that. That's John Wick. Yeah, >> you can actually fire that from above an arrow. I think.
>> Wow, >> that's kind of cool.
>> Six finger into sharp bit. Such a one sharp arrow.
>> Safety is not included.
Heat. Heat.
So Happy with that? Are we?
>> We're very happy.
>> I'm going to film you as well.
>> Film me. Film me this.
>> I I think it's a perfect >> Yeah, we can go with that. We like the readed.
>> Love it.
>> Read. Okay.
>> Yeah. I didn't even know it was a thing, Chris. So, thank you for reading.
>> This is this detail there. It's called readed groove.
>> Fancy.
>> Such a nice room.
>> It's got to be the nicest room in the house.
>> Yes.
>> There we go. Look.
>> Yeah. I don't think it's I just I didn't want it too big, but like it's still got it's got a slightly bigger proportion above it, hasn't it? Of painted. It's >> really calm and quiet in this house, isn't it?
>> It is. It's just It's a little tranquil oasis.
>> No, I agree. I think if we' have gone up there, it would have been way too high.
>> Yeah, it's too much, isn't it? Over there. Yeah. Too big. So, we're going to be then the trim on top of that.
>> Love you.
>> Yeah, I agree.
>> Brilliant.
>> And then you've got enough space for the paper to do be a feature >> and potentially space for coving. We shall see.
>> Yeah.
>> Amazing. Right.
>> Don't know if we've still got time, but I would also like us to try and build that. Do you remember that thing I sent on Instagram? There was like a picture.
>> Oh, yeah. With the cars behind it. Yeah.
I'd like to do that as well.
>> I don't know. I I seem to think maybe we can get the back bit from IKEA.
>> Yeah.
>> You know, cuz they do them little I' I've seen that somewhere that car organizer. Yeah. And then it's just the cover that we've got to make. M.
>> So, I think there's like I think there's an offtheshelf bit and then we can just tweak it with a little bit.
>> Yes. Right. So, we seem happy with the height the panel's going to go on there.
So, I'm going to cut a few more down at that same height and then we can run them around. But first of all, we're going to put some Fortress Trade carpet adhesive protection. So, we're going to stick this down on the carpet around the edges just in case while we because I'm going to have to stick like adhesive and stuff like that on the other panels. Don't want to get on the carpet. So, we're going to stick this down now. I'm just going to give it a quick background. All the edges get give it a little bit of a clean and then we'll get all the protective film stuck down onto it. But for now, it's one with the trusty Dyson.
And okay, so now we have the room just backed everywhere out now. So we've got it all nice and clean and we're going to put the film down on top of that. And then we can do whatever work things we need and hopefully to get it down nice and neat. It can stay down until Nick's finished decorating as well. So it'll work for me. I know we have to decorate.
And then anything else that needs to go under in there.
And now we have a rather fetching pattern on the carpet. You'll see it's very cut and gauge very much at times.
very very very not anything. But it does mean that we can don't have to worry about paint. We don't have to worry about dust going down on the floor. If we got to do a bit of cutting here, don't have to worry about getting the MDF dust out of the carpet and stuff like that cuz I don't want to do that cuz that would ruin this carpet, especially with alpha going in there. So, we're all taped up now. So, if we're doing any cutting and painting, we can just clean it up afterwards and it's not going to be ingrained in the carpet. So, that is a big win. Takes a little bit of time to do and isn't free, but I think it's well worth doing. We generally do this on any internal works that we're doing, especially for carpet down or hard surfaces. You know, we did it at the bungalow Vicki and yeah, used hundreds of meters of this over the years, but just so good. Like dust sheets, you start up and down, they start moving, they get under your feet, they're just not ideal, are whereas this stuff is just primo. They do this one for on a carpet and they do a slightly different version for going on like a hardwood floor. It's got like a the stuff you get from Screw Fix has got like a blue color to it. It's a slight It's not as tacky as this, but it does stick down to the surface, but nowhere near like this one does. But yes, we have that there now. So, I think the next thing Oh, and it is very warm. Right. So, I'm going to knock it now. I'm going to go down there. We're going to knock a couple of sheets down to about a meter.
And then I think when it comes to scribing, I think I'm going to be up here doing the scribing because there's a lot of a lot of them are caught. So, I think we've got the sheets down here. Now I will put some more sheets down on top of this when we fetch the trestles up here.
But think if we get a few of the sheets cut knocked out a meter then both get them up here. Happy days.
So we've got the single shot on the mode selector. So if you see down there then you can see that right we got the mode selector. So we've got single or we got multiple. So single press it down.
You just get the one shot multiple.
Don't think that's coming off there now, is it? Wow. That is pretty good.
That's good.
Yeah, that's not coming off there now, is it? But that's nice that no gas either, just motor, just battery. So, I'm quite happy with that. That seems pretty sweet. So, we're at that point now where we just need to cut all these boards down now to the meter height. So, this is board number two. Going to get that cut down. We've got six more in there. Six more in there.
Yeah, we'll get them chopped out a meter and then we'll see about getting them inside, eh? And then we can well but tomorrow what we'll do is we'll get set up with the trestles up there. Get some sheets down as on top of the plastic as well so these trestles don't push through. And then we're going to notch out just jigsaw out for where jigsaw far out for where the sockets are going to go and stuff like that. That makes a lot of sense, doesn't it? So yeah, we're going to cut down to height out here. Then we're not try to get it's a bit narrow of the board for getting upstairs. So hopefully it makes it a wee bit easier. That's the idea anyway. But for now, I'm going to cut down some boards. And you know it.
You see the GoPro over there? Yes. We're in that time-lapse moment, aren't we?
How do you Oh.
Right, we got six sheets cut down at a meter now. So, I think we've got 2.4.
Thinking we should be between five and six sheets. I've got two spare ones in the van, but I'm not going to cut them down just yet because if we don't end up using them, it seems a shame to uh get them cut out a meter just yet, doesn't it? So, got these six now. So, we just need to try and get these six up into the room before it starts raining cuz it keeps dried rain and we don't want everything getting wet, do we? I got ice cream again. Thank you, Alfie.
>> Yay.
>> Is that not the best thing? Dude, it's so satisf Yeah.
>> Many hours of hard work being brought in here.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh. Oh. Go get him out. Come on. Come on. Okay. Come on. Come on.
>> Big boy coming up. I said big board coming up.
>> Big boy coming up. I said big boat coming up.
Ten time delivery service come to a subscription box near you.
>> I don't know WHY >> he doesn't laugh again.
>> Wait until he sees his bed.
>> I can't. I'm so excited.
>> Yeah, I can't. I'm thinking about building one for me, actually.
>> Oh, that looks so >> Well, we finally got the boards up.
Thank you, sir.
>> Thank you. WE'VE GOT THE BOARD up there.
>> Inspector Boost, what do you think?
>> Did we pass?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> Thank you.
>> So cute.
>> Right. So, I'll just leave them boards with you, Alfie. If you can scribe them around the sockets, get them on the wall. God, there's a lot of sockets as well, aren't there?
>> Oh, no.
>> Delivery service as well.
>> Yes. Look at this.
>> Like I'm out the league around here.
Look at this delivery. Delivery. Oh, you look very clean now, sir.
>> Very clean.
>> Look at that. Spoiling car with that, aren't you? Right. Well, I will leave you to sledgehammer things >> and >> out of context sounds crazy, but yeah.
>> Yep. And I will see you down for hydration at the JB sounds >> it.
>> That was the most sound ever.
You can have one before you've had Sure.
>> It will make you go faster.
>> Get it in your water bottle. Be fine.
>> Yeah, that's good.
>> Right. I'm going now. I'm going to say bye-bye now for today.
>> Bye.
>> Alfie.
>> Alfie.
>> Okay. Going to say bye-bye now. Me high five.
>> Bye. Say see you tomorrow.
>> Daddy.
>> Daddy. Daddy's breaking things.
>> What's he breaking?
>> He just said he's taking a sledgehammer to summer. Oh >> yeah.
>> Right. I'll see you tomorrow.
>> Thank you.
>> No, it's been a pleasure. Thank you for my ice creams and drinks. Yay. See you tomorrow. Bye.
>> It's a big one.
>> It's a green green puddle.
>> It's a water bank holding water and it's doing a bloody good job. Well done.
>> It's letting the field dry out of it, isn't it?
>> Massively.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> I wonder if it'll all disappear after the heat wave. this. God knows >> or if we're going to jump in it during the heat wave.
>> You never know if we want to get really ill for the rest of the heat wave.
>> Why?
>> It should be all right, shouldn't it?
>> It's filtered water coming fresh out of spring from Earth.
>> Should bottle it.
>> Yes.
>> I'll enjoy this bottle.
>> Yeah. Yeah. We'll do a bit.
>> Third. Cheers.
>> Cheers. Just ch.
>> These temperatures like lead to is that's almost like holiday weather. I don't know how much work we can actually get done in that. Um, our cleaner's going off to Tenneref. Yeah.
>> And she's not going to get devastated because it's colder in Tennere than it is in the UK.
>> What day is that? 27. Monday.
>> Is that bank holiday Monday as well?
>> No, it's not.
>> Yeah, it's bank holiday Monday.
>> Every pub.
>> Every pub's like, "Oh, this is the one.
>> That's the one.
>> This is the one."
>> And luckily, we've got our own pub here, so you don't have to be stressed with it.
>> Maybe we'll be in this. You know what?
Maybe it's Shannando time in this. lios and stuff like that. Sat there like chilling with a beer.
>> If you get bored here, go like JMO. You know what I mean? And then you know >> cuz that's deep, isn't it?
>> Yeah. Is it Is it time to buy a boat?
>> Why have you not already bought one?
>> There's a pheasant.
>> Yeah. Just spotted it.
>> Yeah, it's definitely time to buy a boat. I can see it.
>> Right, bro.
>> Thank you for the drinks.
>> IS IT WORTH IT?
>> OH, IT'S WORTH IT.
>> OH, it's worth it. to the left.
There he goes off into the sunset.
Saying hello to the cows.
>> Well, what a day that has been. And just look at that for a view now.
Oh my days. Well, there you go. There's two days for you in the vlog. And I hope you enjoyed it. Like I say, such big steps been taken. We've got the barn signed for they are now ordered a brand new building on its way to the 110. Can you imagine what sort of a game changer that's going to be? And that space in when we were stood inside that one that was a very similar size. It's just insane.
Absolutely wild. The fact that we're going to have something like that on the 110. So excited. And yeah, it's been a really good day. We pushed on with Alfie's bedroom as well. Project Salie is a little bit closer. We've got a lot of the big boards cut down. They're up there. The floor's protected. Hopefully tomorrow I can get on with scribing some of the sockets. Scribing some of the sockets into place and then we can start getting the panels on the wall and then we can have a look at that dado rail that I've got for the top. See what sort of size see if that's big enough or you know we can work out which way we're going to do with it. But an amazing day and what a way to finish the day. Well, not quite finished me. Got to head back down and do the edit in a minute.
I hope you've enjoyed the two days into one. Let me know whether it's better doing like the two shorter videos or the one better one. It's always interesting to see what people are thinking about that. And uh yeah, you can let me know in the comments for that. But as always, thank you very much for everybody who's liked, subscribed, leaving the comments.
The comments, like I say, are amazing.
You're so so good. So much like motivation there when I'm reading the positive comments. Really is to keep pushing on with everything here. It's absolutely amazing. And if you've subscribed, thank you so much for that.
And if you're not subscribed, if you want to do it, that'd be really good because it does help the channel build.
The more we can build the channel, the more work we can do on the 110. I'm going to enjoy the last little bits of this, get the warmth from the sun, then head back down and do the edit. So for now, lots of love to ta.
