On June 9th, a bipartisan group of lawmakers including Tim Bchett, Eric Berles, Jared Moscowitz, and Anna Pelina Luna will gather on Capitol Hill to demand the release of specific UAP files identified by former intelligence officer David Grusch, who claims the government is hiding evidence of nonhuman intelligence. The press conference, hosted by investigative journalist Leslie Kaine and documentary filmmaker James Fox, centers on three key demands: releasing classified UAP files to oversight bodies, passing the UAP Disclosure Act to create legal pathways for record release with national security protections, and implementing stronger whistleblower protections to prevent retaliation. This event highlights the ongoing tension between government secrecy and public transparency regarding UAP, with witnesses like former Navy pilot Ryan Graves estimating that only about 5% of UAP encounters are formally reported, suggesting a significant reporting gap. The FBI has reportedly taken UAP seriously as a priority, and the case of Commander David Fraver's 2004 USS Nimitz encounter (the 'tic-tac incident') exemplifies firsthand accounts that the organizers seek to support with declassified documents.

DAVID GRUSCH STATES THIS JUNE COULD END IT ALLAdded:
On June 9th, a group of lawmakers had a former intelligence officer state that they will stand together on the steps of Capitol Hill and they will ask the president to do one specific thing, release the files that one of them says he has identified by name. And that is the man at the center of this who happens to be the same person who told Congress under oath back in 2023 that the government is hiding the existence of nonhuman intelligence. Hey euphologist, I'm Christina Gomez and this is your UFO news update. There are always uncertainties when it comes to Capitol Hill and them always postponing dates and events. But here is what we know for sure. On Tuesday, June 9th at 100 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, a bipartisan group will gather on the steps of the capital in Washington DC.
These people will include Tim Bchett, Eric Berles, Jared Moscowitz, and Anna Pelina Luna. These are the people that are expected to be there. The press conference will be hosted by investigative journalist Leslie Kaine who helped write the most important article in 2017 addressing ATIP and the Tic Tac. And also hosting will be documentary filmmaker James Fox who has created documentaries such as the phenomenon and out of the blue. To understand why these lawmakers and others are pushing so hard, it helps to hear how Bashett frames it. For him, this was never about little green men.
Here's what he always states on the matter.
>> We all should have transparency. It's not about little green men or flying saucers, dad. It's about what are we spending tens of millions of dollars on and why do they keep telling us they don't exist when we have experts in the field. Dan's movie has people look, they they gain nothing from this. All they risk is the reputation.
>> To him, that is the argument in just one sentence. follow the money and ask why the answers keep changing. Brashette co-chairs the bipartisan house UAP caucus alongside Mosowitz and Luna who and he also chairs the task force on the declassification of federal secrets which has been running the congressional side of this entire fight. So what is Grush bringing to all of this? Drawn from the official announcement from AP News, he plans to discuss specific UAP and nonhuman intelligence evidence he says he encountered inside deeply classified channels. And he will argue those records should be reviewed and released while still protecting real national security concerns. In his words, "The president now has a historic opportunity to move from testimony to action, and the American people should be allowed to judge the facts themselves." Grush is not the only person who has said this to the public.
A retired senior army officer named Carl Nell, who worked on the UAP problem for the government, has backed the core of this claim. Here is the clip collected from Vice.
>> Non-human intelligence exists. Non-human intelligence has been interacting with humanity. This interaction is not new and it's been ongoing and there are unelected people in the government that are aware of that. David Grush has said the same thing. David Grush cleared for presidentially level material. So you're looking at people that are in a position to know this and they're telling you the same thing. After the Department of War opened its public archives on UFOs, the response was very, very hard to ignore because the filmmaker behind the documentary Age of Disclosure, Dan Farah, put the scale on what is being uncovered. Take us into what he said on Fox News.
>> There's been an 80-year cover up of the existence of non-human intelligent life and technology of non-human origin. And what's happening right now behind the scenes is the White House is facing that reality. From what the public knows, the first batch of UFO files have been clicked more than 1 billion times. That shows just how much interest people have on this topic. After a release that big, do you think the agencies will just keep cooperating or do you think the next batch will be a slow crawl because there is another drop coming? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Here is why the lawmakers say the June 9th push is needed. Per the announcement, Berlesen argues that the recent releases are just a start, but that career intelligence officials cannot be allowed to obstruct the effort because that leads to a selective disclosure or just another dead end. And that word obstruction keeps coming up. It connects to a problem pilots have raised for years, which is one of the most of what gets seen actually never gets reported.
Former Navy pilot Ryan Graves has put it very clearly, saying that UAP are in our airspace right now and that they are badly under reportported and that these sightings are not rare or one-off events. In his words, they are very routine. Graves has estimated that pilots formally report only about 5% of what they encounter. And if that figure is anywhere near correct and the files released are so far a sliver of a far larger record. And that is a big reason to why Ryan created ASA, Americans for Safe Airspace. If you are finding value out of these breakdowns, please subscribe because the next few weeks will move very fast and I would hate for you to miss a followup about the event.
Now, here are the three demands. The June 9th press conference is built around three things. First, release the exact UAP files Grush says he has identified to oversight bodies. Second, passage of the UAP Disclosure Act, which would create a legal pathway to release records with national security protections in place. And third, stronger whistleblower protections to prevent retaliation along with a call for allied governments to share what they hold. And that third point is really important because if you remember what Matthew Brown told the weaponized podcast a few months ago is that Brown said he sat down with officials from the ODNI effort called the director's initiative group known as DIG expecting the protections he had been promised but instead he came away describing it as something closer to an operation built to collect whistleblowers and then tear them down rather than shield them. And this would explain why the people on those Capitol steps are not asking for promises. They are asking for protections written into law.
>> There's so much more. I've seen it. The FBI has footage. I've seen it as well as Representative Luna and some others. Uh yeah, I think it's still a cover up. The the trouble with this is the White House tells me that they're really getting push back from a lot of these agencies, the FBI and some of the other groups and and the if you get deep state is what you're getting. And a lot of the things they're putting out now are easily disprovable as not being a UFO. What we need to do is get to more of the stuff that that they shown us as members of Congress in private.
>> A sitting member of Congress saying on camera that he has personally viewed footage held by the FBI. And he is not the only one pointing to that agency.
Farah, who interviewed sources across the government for his film, named the same agency.
>> The only federal agency that's really engaging seriously is the FBI. They're taking it uh very seriously behind the scenes. It's a huge priority for the bureau. And I think as that happens and moves forward, as it becomes more and more of a priority for them, we're going to start to see a lot of information uh revealed and shaken out of this cover up.
>> The public has seen two batches of UFO files thus far. People with clearances say that there is far more sitting in agencies that by several accounts have been slow to hand it over. And there is one more reason these names are just carrying a lot of weight and it goes back to the case that put modern UAP study on the map. Commander David Fraver was a Navy pilot during the 2004 encounter off the USS Nimmits and the case is often called the tic-tac incident. Fraver stated that the object he engaged in 2004 was far beyond anything the US had at the time or anything it expected to build within the next 10 years or so. And that came from a trained pilot describing what he watched on radar and with his own two eyes. For Graves, the stakes are even more personal. He said the reason he went public came down to fear for the people in the cockpit. These are the kinds of firsthand accounts that the June 9th organizers want backed up with documents the public can read for themselves. James Fox stated that the public deserves real answers, that Congress deserves access, and that reality should not be classified. He added that if the requests are met, it could change the course of history. But what could happen next comes down to a few things. whether the president acts on the specific file grush names, whether the UAP disclosure act finally moves after being blocked in past discussions, and whether the agencies that hold the rest of these records release them or keep them stalling. So, we will be watching for all three, but of course, I have a final question for you, as I always do. If David Gosh stands on those steps on June 9th and names specific files, do you think the administration will release them or do you think that this has become just another round of promises with nothing ever happening? Drop your thoughts in the comments below. I'm Christina Gomez.
