The video accurately frames fitness as a form of embodied cultural capital that signals discipline in a meritocratic society. However, it risks conflating aesthetic conformity with moral virtue, overlooking the socioeconomic barriers to achieving such "earned" status.

FIT PRIVILEGE is a real thing!Indexado:
#fitness #fitnessmotivation
Hello everyone. Nolo the Conqueror speaking here. In today's video we're going to discuss fit privilege is a real thing.
So we're going to get into these clips and I'm going to come back with my final thought.
Just like pretty privilege, fit privilege is just as real. They're going to give you more opportunities because you look good. People are going to want to be around you more because you're in shape.
People are going to be sometimes nicer to you cuz you're in shape. A lot of men are not born naturally pretty. We have to work our way and get there. We have to work our way to be attractive. We have to work our way to get attention and be noticed.
Some girls are just naturally pretty and it is what it is and I'm not [ __ ] on them. It's just it is what it is. So a lot of you guys might hate on girls, oh she only got there cuz she looked good.
Yeah.
It's the truth. Pretty privilege is real, but guess what? Fit privilege can work just as well in your favor if you just put the working. Is it fair? No, but is life fair? No. Life ain't fair, man. Life is not fair.
The easiest way I've seen life get better without getting more money, a better job, or changing any external situation is by getting in better shape.
The reality is like there's pretty privilege, but then there's also fit privilege. I noticed when I was larger of a person that people didn't respect me as much or the way that people look at me be a little bit differently and if you've been a little bit bigger on the on that side of the scale, you know what I'm talking about. But ever since I got fit and I got muscles and the you know, the back be poking, all the things, I noticed people respect me and they speak to me differently. Believe it or not, people look at how you treat yourself to know how to treat you. And the age-old Bible truth stands to this day, love your neighbor as yourself. I truly think it's going to be really hard to love your neighbor if you don't really love yourself well because you're just going to love people how you're familiar with yourself. So if you don't keep up your gym commitments or those health commitments that you made, why would you trust someone else to show up for you?
What do you can't trust yourself. That is a big thing, especially when it comes to like loving yourself. You can't really project outwards of good behavior and good uh intentions for other people if you don't feel good about yourself. So, I definitely feel feel him on that point. That is a excellent point he made there.
Fit privilege is literally a real thing.
I'm sick and tired of seeing these creators on here that try to come and promote mediocrity saying that it's okay to be average and it's okay to be just one person in the crowd. It's like, uh no, it's quite literally not because what are we advocating for to say that we want mediocrity? Bad habits, leading people down the wrong direction. We're doing people a disservice by promoting those things. Fit privilege is a thing.
You take care of yourself, you prioritize your health, doors and opportunities are literally going to open for you. Even for myself personally, I started taking care of myself and I had somebody come up to me offer me a paid modeling gig. Who the [ __ ] am I? I'm just playing the game.
You got to understand that there's two options. You either play the game or let the game play you. Which one you want to do? Fit >> Fit privilege is a thing. It also shows how you care about yourself. It shows more or less where you fit in the world and society. People who are fit are more on the upper echelon of society. A fit body can sometime tell if you are poor, if you are middle class, or if you are wealthy. People who are poor generally don't care about being fat. And I'm not talking about poor as in living on the streets. I'm talking about poverty line poor, uh food assistance poor, section 8 public housing poor. People who are on the more wealthy end of town, being fit, being skinny is everything. So, when I say fit privilege, I mean in the way people treat you. Uh people treat you better when you're fit. Jobs treat you better when you're fit. I don't care what you say. Your employer will treat you better if you treat yourself better.
Men and women are going to treat you better. Dating options are going to treat you better.
Fit privilege.
So, we are Fit privilege is literally what it sounds like. It is having a fit body.
No, it is not having a Brazilian butt lift and no legs. That's not fit privilege. That's you using your wealth to look like you're fit.
But, you can't fool the funk. You can't have a Brazilian butt in the back with no hammies.
It's physically impossible.
>> [laughter] >> I'm sorry. Or how about the men with really big chest, but also a really big belly? Like, you either taking too much tea, my friend, or you're just eating too much.
You're dirty bulking. That's also not fit privilege. No, fit privilege is physically having a fit body that is aesthetically pleasing, that you can tell that person goes to the gym, does whatever they do, and you're like, "Wow, that's some dedication." That is fit privilege. Fit privilege is not bought.
Nor is it associated with just one body part.
I'm sorry, I'm laughing because I just thought this was common sense, but it's not. So, let me just Let me spill the tea. Fit privilege is looking fit from head to toe. Now, I'm not saying you have to have a perfect body, but you can tell that person carries themselves well.
They have nice shoulder caps. They may not have a six-pack, but they look fit in the midsection. They have quads. They have hammies. You know, like it just overall Let's Let's Let's give it a rating. 75% of their body screams fit, but when only 10% of their body, aka the Brazilian butt lift that they paid, you know, Dr. Such-and-such to do, that is not fit privilege.
Stop it.
And yes, fit privilege is a thing. So many people are like, "You just made that up." No, I didn't.
You're just mad because you're probably one that's not carrying that title.
You're not fit privilege because you chose a different path. There's nothing wrong with that. Just don't be mad when you walk into a room and you demand respect. Or if you're a female and you love the attention, and then another female walks into the room and she's fitter than you, and so she gets all the attention. Don't be mad at that. Don't be mad. Don't. Look at me cuz everybody has the opportunity to be fit or look fit. We just choose not to. Yes, it is 100% a thing, just like there's white privilege, there's pretty privilege, there is such thing as fit privilege.
Stay with me. Yes, Kooi.
Okay, I hope that helped.
Hammies.
Bye.
And everyone talks about using every unfair advantage you have to win, but no one talks about creating unfair advantage. Do you know how much of a [ __ ] life hack a fit body is? You understand?
How much different you get treated as if you're [ __ ] skinny as [ __ ] or if you're fat as [ __ ] or if you're fit.
Bro, it's night and day.
It's [ __ ] night and day. Fit privilege is absolutely a [ __ ] real thing.
You you have an advantage in everything.
You want to make more money? Get fit.
You want to have more respect? Get fit.
You want to be trusted more? Get fit. You want more of anything positive in life?
Get [ __ ] fit. That is the biggest advantage that you can have is a [ __ ] fit body.
>> [music] >> So, uh Basically, uh they said uh a big a big amount of portion. So, here's my spiel about it. Fit privilege definitely is a real real thing.
Honestly, it's real thing. As you guys know, I've lost over 100 lb. And I was treated when I was that heavy everybody being comfortable around me, everybody comfortable enough to just do whatever around me. I'm always just you know, I don't I don't force anybody, you know, inadvertently to really step up their game or anything like that. I wasn't threatening anybody with my presence.
Because [snorts] I was just big I mean, of course I had the muscle, too, but it's it's not the same when you just big and sloppy and you just got some muscle underneath. You still have some of those people that are intimidated, but it's not it's not the same as when you cut it down and you and you chisel it down.
It's it's not the same at all. So, that's a big privilege like the treatment I got was just that I'm getting is is is night and day. It's it's so much different. Like, people have much more respect. You can tell like I get like the head nods. I see the the signs of respect. I see the signs of intimidation intensified at this point like I see like people just gravitating towards my my content like this. I'm pretty sure that my image plays a big part of this even though I'm talking about it, but if I didn't look the part like if I didn't like look like I practice what I preach, you know, a lot of people wouldn't want to listen to me when I'm talking about this fitness stuff on this channel. So, that in turn is already creating a bigger opportunity for me cuz I'm able to uh put myself out there and not even just like the fit privilege in and of itself external standpoint. Internally, how you feel about yourself is really the biggest flex of it all because [snorts] you just feel good every day. It's like you just want to go out and just conquer the world every day. Every day you just feel like, man, it's going to be a good day.
Uh I [snorts] was talking to my mom and I was told her I was like, I'm starting to feel like every day is starting to feel like like the kids when they uh about to have a field trip, you know how you go to sleep that night and you know that when you wake up you're going to a field trip. That's what it's feeling like when you fit. Like when you feel really good about yourself, you're keeping those promises to yourself.
That's what it feels like. It feels like you got a field trip every day. That's what that's what it feel like and you're excited to go. All right. The excitement inside of you is is in it's You you can't I can't really explain how it feels. It's just overwhelming excitement because I'm just ready to for whatever it is. Even if it's like a quote-unquote bad day, it's not really necessarily a bad day because it's just >> [snorts] >> I mean, you've done something you're proud of. You can look in the mirror, you're proud of it every day. It's like that uplift you.
So, it's not even just a privilege for this external thing. It's a It's a privilege for you internally and how you feel about yourself like mentally and you got you have a lot more self-respect for yourself. And then that's what's going to project in the habits that you're going to keep doing. You're going to keep wanting to do it because you feel so good about yourself and what you're doing.
And the consistency that you're having for yourself, you just feel good about it.
So, you're going to in turn keep going.
The fit privilege is a real thing.
People around you, man, like they want to ask you about your workout routine.
People that you haven't heard from from a long time ago are going to be like, "Dang, man, what you do?" I got people from like my high school from a long time I'm talking about this is like 10 to 16 years ago like asking me what I'm doing for my work. I'm like, "Bro, I'm proud of you, bro. I see what you doing, bro. What you do, bro? Like how how you get like that, bro?" Like these And it's crazy it's some of the people that used to pick on me in high school and everything coming back trying to ask me what I'm doing, bro. Like people that have like so much respect for like, "Bro, I see you, bro. I'm so proud of you, bro." Like people that I didn't even like I'm going to be honest with you I didn't even like mess with them in high school like if anything I didn't really like them because they was always talking like they was always talking [ __ ] about me.
But um it's crazy how like just your your fit body, your presence, your it's just like you it's a physical manifestation of the respect for yourself can just turn people like that.
That fit body represents that, man.
And that in turn earns you fit privilege.
You go out somewhere like you look way better in clothes. You don't have to buy a bunch of other stuff. [snorts] And then that's that's going to be the next thing. Yeah, fit body that's the outfit.
I'm going to make another one. In fact, probably going to make it right after this video. But anyway, >> [snorts] >> um man, it's just it's you you feel so much better about yourself. You go out there and the world just start treating you a certain way. People just see that you care about yourself. That's the main thing. They see the respect that you have for yourself and they in turn just want to respect you cuz you looking like, "Yeah, man." And it's not even just this happening with the fit body in of itself. It's like at the same time it's about how packaged as well. So don't just be having being fit and just going out all bummy and stuff like that.
Like you still need to have good packaging. You know, just be clean cut, you know. Just look like you care about yourself. But your fit body still going to speak regardless, but you still want to package it in its best light.
And that combination right there is is insane. It's almost like the fit privilege is going to force you into interaction. So if you intro if you introverted, you're going to end up being in conversations that you probably didn't want to start. People going to want to keep talking to you about fitness and talking to you about that that conversation is always going to come up. Like, "Dang, man, you're you're huge, bro. Like, look at you, bro. Like, how do you do that, bro? Your chest is huge. Your arms are huge, bro. I'm trying to get like you, bro." Like, stuff like that. That's always going to be happening. Women will come up to to the bed, too. They'll be like, "Oh, man, God." They Women respect it. So, even if you're a woman, they other women respect what you do as well. Some are going to be hating. Some are going to be admiring. It comes with it. That's what comes with the territory. On the men's side, you're going to have some men that's hating you. You're going to have some men that's inspired. Some that want to that get started. Some are going to be proud of you. Some that's going going [snorts] to look at you with this thing cuz they don't want to put the discipline. So, it's going to it's going to happen on both sides. That's what comes with the territory. It is what it is.
And I always I used to be one of those guys. I used to hate on the fit guys when I was heavier. So, I know the mindset. That's how I know.
But, I What I had to do, I had to look and say, "You know what? I'm looking at how the treatment that they're getting, but I could do the same thing."
You see what I'm saying? You got to have that conversation with yourself and look in the mirror and be like, "I got to change me."
And as soon as you look at your yourself, you're not going to worry about external things. You lock in on yourself. And then the environment is going to reflect on the respect that you're showing yourself because now you're keeping those habits up. You're consistently going. Like, people are literally watching you change before their eyes. Like, that's going to garner even more respect for me. I'm noticing I'm getting a lot more even though it's unspoken, even though a lot of people aren't really speaking, but I can see in the gym that there's a shift going on. There's definitely a shift going on right now cuz I'm definitely getting in some crazy I'm I'm getting in way better shape than I've ever been in. Like, for real. Like, I'm pushing past the best like shape that I've ever been right now. And a lot of people are starting to see that. I'm starting to like notice the the very silent respect. I'm starting to notice a lot of the like the shifting of the environment a lot more.
Because it's just I'm the type of person I got I got a great amount of muscle base. Like a lot of people been seeing me consistently in the gym, but I always been like kind of like a one size, but I didn't start cutting seriously and I'm changing right before their eyes. You see what I mean? So even that's shifting. You see what I mean? So it's like the fit privilege is it's just real.
It's just real. The world is going to treat you a lot better when you're fit.
You're going to be a lot more privileged when you're fit.
It just is is plain and simple because a fitness journey is something everybody wants to embark on. Everybody knows the importance of health and what their health indication marker is is basically your body and presentation. That's why why you think the fitness trainers look fit and people look up to them because of how they look. They're like, "I want to look like that. I want to Why do they want to look like that?"
You see what I'm saying?
They know it takes hard work. It takes dedication. It takes discipline. They know it's hard.
So that's why it's also respected and which is in turn leads to the privileges.
But anyway, I think I've yapped on long enough about this and this is Nodal the Conqueror here coming to you with another video and I am out.
