Religious concepts that attribute suffering to divine purpose create logical contradictions. If God created a world with inherent suffering, disease, and the capacity for mass atrocities, this conflicts with the notion of a benevolent creator. The speaker argues that a loving parent would not create a world with such dangers and suffering, making religious explanations for evil problematic.

The Earth Is Not Flat and Jesus Is Not Coming To Rescue You #atheist #religionIndexé :
The Church Is Trying To Return The World To The dark Ages.
So why is it every time that you say something against religion, specifically Christianity, they always come out and they're so offended, they get so angry that somebody would dare question their faith and would dare question the things that they are teaching in their churches and their Sunday schools. and they try to make it sound completely hysterical and over the top, but yet they don't have a problem using that language when it comes to dealing with the rest of us. I mean, I've heard so many Christians say that we are we are at war. We are at war with these evil people and we are at war with Satan who has taken over these people. And you know, it it's ironic to me that they always use this type of language, but when it's the people who are just pointing out the ridiculousness of the of the Bible and the ridiculousness of the teachings, they declare it's a war and they try to make everything seem more dramatic than what it really is. It is the church that is always trying to legislate their version of morality. It is the church that is always trying to legislate and control what people say and what can what people do. They are the ones who are actively on the offensive against the rest of society but yet they act like they are the perpetual victims in the whole thing when everybody would basically leave them alone. if they would just stay out of other people's lives and other people's bedrooms and if they would stay the hell out of our schools and stop trying to teach this religious ideology as scientific fact. You see, they get all upset and then of course, you know, when you start pointing out these things about their religion, they always accuse you of attacking God. Well, as an atheist, it's kind of hard for me to attack God, something that I see no evidence for. It's not that I'm attacking God. I am attacking their ridiculous scriptures because their scriptures make no sense. Like in the book of Revelation, it talks about how one of the signs will be that the the stars will fall from the heavens and land to earth. Well, right there just shows you just at the time when these things were written, just how ignorant people were. There's no way a star, which is a sun, can ever land on the earth, especially all of the stars in heaven.
That that makes no sense. It's ridiculous. I mean, our own star is so much bigger than the Earth. It's It's crazy. But yet, they believe these things. They believe in these things that are scientifically disproven.
the the stars which are suns cannot fall to the earth. It it just it can't happen. And then they believe things like how the sun stood still. I mean that just goes to show you how little the people at that time knew about how the world worked, how the universe worked.
And but yet they still want to teach it in schools like it's like it's scientific fact. They want to teach that the the world is only 6,000 years old.
And I it's incredible to me that in the year 2026, people are still going along with this religious I mean, I don't want to use the but it's I mean, we all know it's but they get all offended, but you know, they never stop to realize that the rest of the world, society in general, I mean, look how offensive they are to us.
They believe that we're all sinners, born sinners. None of us deserve anything. They believe that we all should be tortured for all eternity.
They believe that we should fry in hell for all eternity for any sins that we've ever done here on this earth. It makes no sense. But yet they call us these vile things, sinners and evildoers and wicked. And we deserve to be tortured forever and ever. And God's going to fry us like bacon. But we're supposed to be okay with that. We're not supposed to say anything about that because that's allowed, right? That's that's not offensive to non-believers or that's not offensive to people who believe in a different faith than they do, right? That's yeah, that's perfectly fine in their book. They they can say whatever they want about you. They can say whatever they want about how you live your life, but boy, don't you don't you dare question their magical book, their magical book of spells. I mean, and just on its face, you would think that most of these people would be able to recognize that this stuff is just so far over the top. I mean, just look in the Gospels like in what is it in Mark chapter 16 where supposedly Jesus is telling people that these signs will follow them that believe in my name.
They will cast out demons. They will heal the sick. They will raise the dead.
they will drink poison and it won't hurt them at all. The list goes on of of of just that they believe. But yet, we don't see that. When's the last time you seen preachers in churches going to your local emergency rooms and laying hands on the sick and the whole hospital was cleared out? If this was all true, and and it's not just the Christian faith, you know, it's some of these other faiths too that believe in all of these these healings and stuff. If all of this was true and this was all fact, there wouldn't be any need for hospitals, we wouldn't need health care. We wouldn't need all the things that we need because the religious could just take care of it all. They could be like Jesus and they could they could feed all of the hungry, heal all of the sick, raise all of the dead.
But the fact that we even have these sinks, that we have sickness, the fact that we have disease, the fact that we have people starving to death and we have babies starving to death and children starving to death and women starving to death and cancers and tumors and the list goes on, wars, and the fact that we have all of this suffering in this life just goes to show you that the whole book and everybody's faith systems are all BS. Completely BS. Like, it makes no sense. Why would a supposed beloved god, a god who cares about its creation, ever even, you know, create a place like this with all of this suffering, all of this turmoil? It it just goes against reason. Like any normal parent out there would not want to bring their child up in a place where there's so much danger and there's so much suffering and just so many things that can go wrong. And in fact, you know, we try to limit those things in our own kids' life and our own famil family's life and our communities and our towns. We try to take out those variables so that they don't happen to people. But yet, we are supposed to believe that there's this God in heaven who created all of this and who purposely made all of this so-called sin, who purposely made all of this wickedness, who purposely made these diseases and and starvation and the ability to commit war on mass scales and to to kill millions of people. We're supposed to believe that.
Does that make any sense to anybody's reason at all? No. It's absurd. It's absolutely ridiculous. And they don't even listen to themselves talk when they're talking about their own scriptures. They'll say things like, "Jesus was the the first born of the dead." Well, that's not true. All you got to do is read the gospels themselves. Didn't Jesus run around and raise people from the dead? What about Lazarus? Wouldn't Lazarus be a little bit before Jesus? And then not only that, you have at the time of crucifixion and and the resurrection story, it's written that all the graves opened up and all the holy men that were long dead and buried came out of their graves and appeared to everybody in the town. It's just it's ridiculous. But, you know, they they throw that out there like it means something. Oh, Jesus is the firstborn of the dead. Well, that's not true. All you have to do is read the gospels themselves. I have to wonder what happened to people in their critical thinking skills that we returned. We did have this age of reason, this age of enlightenment where people began calling out all of this nonsense. That was great. But it seems like in this day and age, we're just returning back to superstition. All the flatearthers are coming out again and all of the fundamentalists and religion are are coming out in full force and they are trying to slam all of this religious nonsense down everybody's throat. They're trying to put it in our schools to teach our children. This is their last harrah, I guess, because they know that it's all coming to an end because the church has been diminishing year after year and this is their last chance, their last push to try to hold on to all of that control that they once had. They're trying to get it back. And if we just stand idly by and we don't speak out and we let the fundamentalists, the Christian nationalists have their way, we're going to be in a world of hurt because they will raise up another generation of flatearthers and people who believe in talking snakes and mystical beings and it will get really bad. They'll be burning us at the stakes again with their nonsensical blasphemy laws. We need to keep speaking out. We need to make sure that we remain vigilant and not allow these churches to overtake our schools, overtake our government more than they already have because they're making inroads. And so we need, you know, people like the Freedom from Religion Foundation and we need to be speaking out to our representatives and letting them know that this is not okay.
The world's not 6,000 years old. The planet is not flat. Jesus is not coming back. There's no one coming to rescue you but yourself. Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Like, share, follow for more. As always, this is Grim with Get the Rant, and I'll see you all in the next
