[00:00:03]Good morning, everybody. Welcome back to Solenoid Script. So, I hope you're all doing great and welcome to a new alt season update this Saturday morning.

[00:00:10]We've had quite a quite an eventful morning so far, quite volatile morning, bearish morning, as you can see right here.

[00:00:16]Uh got a bit of a spike right here, as you can see, about about an hour ago. We have recovered fairly well, but ultimately a lot of altcoins at the moment are still down 2 3%. We'll talk about that because in this video we'll talk about the general situation for altcoins at the moment, right? How are altcoins looking? Should you be buying into altcoins? Do they have potential to rally again next week? Obviously, after a very strong April and May, not only for altcoins, but for the general financial markets.

[00:00:41]Talk about what it looks like.

[00:00:43]Um these videos have been called alt season updates since the time where we actually had a probability of getting an alt season. So, obviously, is the probability high that we're going to get an alt season right now? No, I'd say it's near zero. Um but that doesn't mean that altcoins cannot rally, right? And I've made a lot of these videos since February and March, and I always told you, I do think that we will rally at some point of time again, and there will be a lot of money to be made, and that still is the situation. So, wanted to talk a little bit about the situation for altcoins right now.

[00:01:13]Um and then at the end of the video we'll also talk a little bit about which altcoins to to to to watch and which altcoins to fade, in my opinion, of course. But um that's what we're going to do. So, let's get right into it. The chart that you can see right here is the total three right? So, the crypto total market cap excluding uh Bitcoin and Ethereum.

[00:01:33]Generally, when we're talking about the fundamentals in the financial markets at the moment, they're not bad, but we have seen, and that was also one of the primary drivers, well, one of the drivers at least, behind the bearish pressure that we saw in the markets yesterday. Um the the financial markets have pulled back a bit, right? So, the S&P 500, as you can see right here, this is the biggest pull I wouldn't call this a big pullback, by the way. Uh but this is a 1.7% whoa, major, but it is a relatively big pullback if you compare it to all the other pullbacks that we've had so far. It's the biggest one since we started rallying the 31st of March.

[00:02:06]So it is relevant and the the underlying fundamentals with bond yields and with oil prices and what's that doing what what that is doing to the volatility index um that is meaningful and that is going to affect and keep affecting the crypto markets as long as it continues. That's not bullish, right? It doesn't necessarily have to be bearish but at the moment if we look at altcoins in general they already are bearish. Now this is not new, okay? I made one of these updates as well on Wednesday and since then we've had some meaningful, you know, price action so I thought it would be necessary to do another kind of updates on that. And back then we we already were losing like we had those bearish divergences and we were losing this critical level the previous quarter VWAP and every time we try to break above that we failed, right? So so that was already a sign that we were losing strength, bearish divergence, triple top whatever you want to call that but generally we lost the previous quarter VWAP right here. Um so so when we were losing that I really told you, okay, well it looks most likely we're going to consolidate at least. Well we did so we lost the 7-day rolling VWAP, lost the trend and dropped down lower.

[00:03:08]And at the moment like the 4-hour time frame looks bad, right? Because on the 4-hour time frame um [snorts] we have already lost basically everything. We we've lost the swing lows right here so that was already also a key moment for altcoins where I said, okay, the uptrend is gone.

[00:03:20]We'll consolidate. But right now you can also see on the 12-hour time frame that we are losing that swing low. Um now I would actually say that this is still the relevant swing low. So um uptrend is over.

[00:03:31]Are we going to enter a a downtrend now, right? That is the question and I think the answer to that is also no. It depends slightly on the fundamentals.

[00:03:41]Those fundamental developments and fundamental kind of things that are going on right now. If those become much worse, right? So if we really see the volatility index going into the mid-20s again, like then I I think altcoins can pull down much lower. So so then we're talking about maybe something like this, maybe something like this. That is a possibility. You need to be meaningfully prepared for that. Now, under the current fundamentals, I would say it is most likely that we are going to test the range that we come out of, right?

[00:04:07]Ultimately, this was the big range.

[00:04:09]We've broken out of that, but it's it's not strange that we'll test that. And then from there, I do think we can spike down quite low, but I do think from there we'll find support.

[00:04:17]We'll consolidate. I don't think a major downtrend all of a sudden is most likely. And then from there, we will see, okay? Because ultimately, I do need to see a strong reaction. I need to see some altcoin strength. I need to see a weak Bitcoin dominance. I need to see strong financial market fundamentals for me to tell you that from there we're going to rally again. It is a possibility, but we need confirmations.

[00:04:37]So for now, short-term, still bearish. I think we're nearing support relatively soon. I expect support there, consolidation, and then from there we'll rally depending on the fundamentals, which I'll keep you updated on. And when we're talking about uh you know, which altcoins to look at, I thought this morning, you [snorts] know, a lot is very weak at the moment. And I just deleted my XRP chart.

[00:04:56]Um not what I wanted to do, but um But now, the thing is okay, I'll edit later. Um Quant is quite strong. It's a bit of a obscure altcoin, but still it is strong. Now, outside of that, I still quite like the BNB ecosystem, right? I mean, if BNB is able to keep consolidating here above 650, it is still trading at a breakout. And there's not a lot of altcoins that can say that.

[00:05:19]So then we're talking about BNB, we're talking about Cake, we're talking about the BNB ecosystem in general. I think that's interesting. Um I think you should be avoidant of altcoins such as Zcash. That's relatively weak. Uh BitTensor Tao, that's relatively weak. I would avoid that. Um but [snorts] also something like Pendle. Like like those coins that have rallied a lot, have topped and are now seeing bearish breakdowns with a lot of gaps into the downside. Be careful with those.

[00:05:42]Those are my thoughts. Those are my thoughts on altcoins going into the weekend, going into next week.
