Dr. Jamnadas offers a compelling paradigm shift by reframing hypertension as a reversible metabolic symptom rather than a lifelong sentence of medication. This approach empowers patients to target the root cause of cardiovascular disease through lifestyle-driven metabolic repair.

What Doctors Rarely Explain About Blood PressureIndexé :
High blood pressure is often treated like the disease itself, but many times it is a sign that something deeper is going on. Medication can be important, especially early on, but that does not mean the root cause should be ignored. More and more evidence points to metabolic dysfunction as a major driver of high blood pressure. When metabolic health improves, blood pressure often improves with it. So today I'm going to tell you what the incomplete work up of high blood pressure is. Traditionally when patients come to see us for high blood pressure we say that oh 95% of them are primary essential hypertension. Majority of them don't seem to have a cause for it and therefore the next thing is we take out the prescription pad and we give you blood pressure medications. And that's right we do want to get the blood pressure down and you do want to get on medications now early before you start developing end organ damage. Over the years, I've realized that many many patients actually can reverse their high blood pressure. Unlike what I was taught in medical school, metabolic syndrome causes high blood pressure. If you reverse metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure goes away.
