[00:00:00]Now, along with the new Honda City facelift, Honda has also brought the ZR-V strong hybrid SUV to Indian shores.

[00:00:06]Now, this is going to be their new halo car, the halo product for the Indian market. And it's going to be a full import from Japan. Prices aren't out yet, but Honda has told us that it is going to bring a certain units to India.

[00:00:19]Under the hood of the ZR-V is a 2-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine with hybrid assistance. It has two electric motors and it's coupled to an e-CVT gearbox. Together, the setup makes 181 bhp and 315 newton meters of peak torque. 0 to 100, that is achieved in just 7.9 seconds. And you know what this powertrain actually gives it incredible fuel efficiency, 22.8 kilometers to the liter. That's what Honda claims. Now, on the styling front, it gets these sleek LED headlights with DRLs, which also double up as sequential turn indicators. This grill right here, which is in line with other global Honda models, and a sharp face. It rides on 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and here are its dimensions. 4567 mm, that's the length. 1840 mm, that's the width.

[00:01:04]1621 mm, that's the height. And you know what this car has a 2655 mm wheelbase. Let's move to the back.

[00:01:11]Here's what the rear end of the ZR-V looks like.

[00:01:14]It gets LED tail lights. Now, you guys tell me which other car has similar-looking LED tail lights. There's a spoiler up top, glass here with a windshield wiper, and uh heater elements inside.

[00:01:27]A couple of, you know, four exhaust tips. And it's got a power tailgate.

[00:01:32]Now, if you fold the second row flat, the boot space, that is 1,330 liters.

[00:01:37]Now, let's move to the inside. I'm in the back seat of the new ZR-V now, and the first thing that's noticeable is the fact that the load floor, that is a little high, which means under thigh support, you know, [music] that is going to be an issue, especially for tall people. It gets two air vents here, two type-C ports.

[00:01:53]Nice and supple seats.

[00:01:55]We can seat here very abreast very nicely.

[00:01:58]It's got two LED lights on the top, a white headliner, this armrest right here with two cup holders and a tiny C-pillar mounted window, at the back of which is a speaker of the 12-speaker Bose sound system. Okay, so moving to the inside of the new ZR-V now, and the first thing that's noticeable here is this all-black interior. [music] There's soft-touch materials on the dash, on the door cards, and you know, in general, it feels like a nice place to be. The fit and finish, that is going to be excellent because this is a CBU unit that's made in Japan. It gets a three-spoke steering wheel, a 9-in infotainment touchscreen with wireless connectivity, >> [music] >> and you know, even app mirroring.

[00:02:34]There's a digital cluster here, wireless charger here, two cup holders, it's got automatic air con, [music] three drive modes. Uh, these are the drive selector buttons here. The electronic parking brake that's here, and it also has a nice little cubby down below with two USB ports. There's a type C port here and a type A port here.

[00:02:55]Armrest storage that also seems to be quite big. What this car misses is the fact that it doesn't get a sunroof, neither does it get ventilated front seats. But you know what? It is a nice place to be. It also has an automatic inside rearview mirror, and on the safety front, it gets level two ADAS with lane keep assist with automatic brake control and a plethora of other features as well. There's eight airbags as standard, and it also has all-wheel disc brakes. Now, prices for the ZR-V aren't out yet, and like I said, Honda is going to announce them soon. Honda has also told us that this car is also going to come to India in limited numbers, and that also remains to be seen. Thank you so much for watching this walk-around.
