She had extremely vivid memories of giving birth. She remembered the agonizing pain of labor, the joy of holding her daughters for the first time, and the devastation when one died soon after. She also remembered the specific feelings of having skin-to-skin contact with her babies and the overwhelming wave of love that she felt for them. Each of her daughters had distinct personalities.
