Guys, we used to say that there is fire on the mountain in terms of insecurity in Nigeria, but we're so far off. The fire is no longer on the mountain. It is right in front of our doorsteps.
Literally, it is already inside the homes of so many people. And the question is, how many more innocent people have to die before Nigeria will know that there is a major problem that we are at war? I'm pretty sure by now you must have heard about what happening on your state. See when this thing started in the north we were shouting it's in the nor it's happening the government could kill us and gradually it is now spreading when it got to Niger state we were like it's very close to the southeast now are you guys not going to do anything and then it got to quir state we were shouting it is now in quir state don't think that you are safe just because you are in Lagos guess what now they operating in your state more than 40 students and teachers were kidnapped in Oyo state and the video of the math teacher Mr. Michael Ooku where he was beheaded. The video of him being beheaded has circulated nationwide.
I cannot even imagine this man was a teacher. He was just doing his job, showed up to work like any devoted person. He showed up to work to teach to teach math. None of them prepared for what happened. Can you imagine being in that kind of situation where you showed up to work or you sent your children to school only to get a call that your child has been picked up or your husband has been picked up, your wife has been picked up. The video of the principal who was also picked up that day has circulated as well. This woman begging, begging the government, begging everybody that could help. And unfortunately for the math teacher, they beheaded him and made a video of it and they posted it on social media. By the way, his family has been saying online that people should please stop circulating that video that it's enough trauma what they going through. But now his children like everybody is now seeing the video of their loved one being beheaded. So please stop circulating that video. It is way too graphic now. I just don't know what else has to happen before Nigeria will say, you know what, that's it. We're dropping everything. Like how many more people have to die? And the one that pains me are the Nigerians that are in support of this government that could care less about security just because they are not directly affected. Now it's so bad. Not only does this government not care, but they have shown over and over and over that they care more about the bandits than the people. And if you think that I'm making this up, let's start with Uncle Nuru, the national security advisor. This man has said it publicly that the bandits are our brothers. He was advocating for dialogue instead of like going after them, killing them.
Let's have a peaceful dialogue because these bandits are our brothers.
Brothers, he called them. But not just the national security advisor. If you have not seen the video of the chief of defense staff, General Olu.
This is him publicly saying that the bandits are just like prodigal sons. We need to allow them to repent.
>> So many people have asked that questions. Why do we need to rehabilitate criminals?
They all should be killed because they kill people. Well, that may make sense.
But even in the Bible, we heard about the prodigal. If there was not that window for the man to come back, would they have come back? So the point is that these are Nigerians mostly and it's important for us to give them that window to repent. if they want rather than pushing them to the extreme to say, "Okay, it's either we kill you or you continue with the adventure."
>> First of all, what is he talking about?
Was the prodigal son going about killing people, slaughtering people, beheading people? What is he talking about? How how does what has the prodigal son got to do with people who have made it their mission to kill Nigerians? What is his job as a general in the army? If he's looking out for the interest of the terrorist, why is this man a general in the army? If he's more concerned about giving terrorist a second chance, what are we doing? What are we really doing?
This is the people that should be giving the order for the soldiers to go. He himself should be out there protecting Nigerians. But now he's talking about giving the same terrorists an opportunity to repent. He's saying that we should not drive them to the extreme.
But they are driving people to the extreme, killing people and making videos of them slaughtering Nigerians and uploading it because they know nothing will happen to them. This is just for you guys to know that this government has no intention of ensuring security. If the chief of defense will be speaking like this, Nigeria is not trying to protect its citizens. if the national security adviser will speak like that. But you know the one that worries me the most is that not only are the people in position of authority saying things like this but now regular Nigerians have also started repeating it and we know that they are not really the ones talking. Money is talking. If you have not seen this video, these are some officials of the civil society organization. This is the organization that should like stand against anything that the government is doing that does not favor the people. This was supposed to represent the interest of the regular Nigerians. But now listen to what they are also saying.
>> Well, the truth is that the terrorists are one of us. Before they were, you know, confused because of situations and circumstances.
>> Can I just stop in right there? These terrorists, they are not confused. They have not been confused since they started what they doing. Their only aim is to kill and they've been doing it successfully. They're not confused. If anybody is confused here with due respect, sir, you are the one that is confused here because what do you mean that they are one of us before they were confused? Like what level of confusion?
Do you even know the meal of confusion?
Like nobody here is confused. The terrorists are not confused. The people are not confused. You are the one that is confused here. And it's very obvious.
It is very very okay for them to be properly reintro uh h reintegrated into the society but however there is need for adequate monitoring of their movements and activities.
>> They have no other home but this Nigeria and they have to equally uh move on with their compatriots. The only thing is monitoring to make sure that they are not they don't deviate if they are brought back into the uh society.
>> How does this make sense? How does this make Nigeria will try you? Sometimes you want FC. So how does this make sense?
Monitoring who? Who is going to be monitoring terrorists? Is it the one that will start monitoring them once they re he wants them to be reintegrated back into the society? These are people that are already used to killing, kidnapping people, getting hundreds of millions in ransom, even billions.
They've exorted so much from the people.
And he's talking about reintegrating them, and that they should just be monitored. So, we don't even have enough security forces to fight the terrorist as it is. Now, we need to devote some of their time into monitoring the pardoned terrorists, he said, to make sure they don't deviate. What I don't understand is why it takes so much time for Thunder to sometimes. These are the kind of people that you see that you be like, "Thunder fire you." With due respect, you're seriously confused. So, I showed all these videos to tell you that the Nigerian government has no intention of protecting its citizens. Meanwhile, I think it's so ridiculous that this same government is trying to recruit 28,000 soldiers, they said in the name of fighting insecurity. What insecurity?
You are not fighting insecurity. You are advocating for the terrorists. But you want to recruit 28,000 young people to join you in the fight that is not happening against the terrorists.
They're seriously just wasting the lives of our soldiers. I don't know if you guys have seen so many Nigerian soldiers have been killed. There was one photo that was trending this week. Two brothers from the same mother and father died within months of each other. Both of them were in the Nigerian army. How do you want those parents to move on?
But this same government wants to recruit 28,000 more. Establishment of the dep of Nigerian army amas eda is geared towards achieving the mandate of the commander in chief directive of recruiting additional 28,000 troops for us expansion.
>> How much do they even pay our soldiers?
You know I'm uploading a video of how the veteran hospitals look like here in America. Just one of the veteran hospitals that I visited recently. I made a video showing you what the soldiers that are no longer serving here in America, what they enjoy. And these are soldiers that are not even serving anymore. If you see the facilities that they are enjoying, our soldiers are underpaid. They are not well equipped.
They are dying in drones. The government doesn't care about them, but he's trying to recruit more of them. Make it make sense. Meanwhile, in another video, we'll talk about the opposition. It's so sad because with everything that is happening right now, the opposition is so divided. You can't help but wonder, is this how we will continue? I just want to know what you guys think about this insecurity. Our deepest condolences to everybody that has been a victim. I can't even imagine what they're going through. Please let me know in the comment section if you think that this government has any intention at all to do anything about this insecurity. The general, the chief of defense staff with the way he spoke, you would think he would have been fired immediately. Like what is your job if you are thinking about them as prodical sons? Why are you there? You would think the national security advisor would have been fired for saying that they are our brothers.
We need a more lenient approach with them. Shiki is there talking about how they are our brothers. They have nowhere to go. Nothing has happened to him this whole time. His son is in the same military. If the father is preaching that, what do you expect the son to do?
It's so unfortunate. Like guys, there's no more fire on the mountain. It's right on our doorstep. And those who have the power to do something about it are intentionally not doing anything about it. Let me know what you guys think in the comment section. Subscribe if you're yet to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Until next time, I will see you. Peace out.
