[00:00:08]By this evening, we are learning that the front is expected to announce the list of the ministers. Reports are also suggesting that the Congress party has proposed a formula one minister for every five [music] MLAs. Now, under the current understanding, the Congress party is likely to get 13 cabinet positions including the Chief Ministership as well. In fact, this comes days after the Chief Minister there took oath as well and the Muslim League is expected to secure four ministerial births along with either of the Deputy Speaker or the Chief Whip post. Arpita, after the Kerala Chief Minister took oath, attention has now shifted to the formation of the new UDF cabinet. Give us more details about what can be expected.

[00:00:56]Well, Akansha, the new Chief Minister and his cabinet will be taking oath on Monday, that is 18th of May and before that, today is when the list of cabinet ministers will be announced by the Chief Minister designate V.D. Satheesan. In fact, there have been multiple rounds of talks within the alliance partners as well and as far as understanding what the Congress has proposed is that every for every five MLAs, one ministerial birth will be given. Sources are also suggesting that parties like CMP where there's only one MLA, that is C.P. John, there they could propose ministers for both cases. So, that is why So, that is the formula that they have been proposed is what we have been able to know, but in that case, it is also been said that Muslim League will get only four ministerial birth, but it needs to be seen if they will be okay with it because earlier when Muslim League, whenever UDF had come to power they have had five ministerial births and even now what sources are suggesting is that they are asking for five births but we will have to see if the proposed formula by Congress will be accepted by all other alliance partners.
